The best there is
Let me start out by saying: This thermos is amazing, and you will not regret buying it. (Or maybe you will, but I'll get to that) The amount of thought and consideration that went into this product is outstanding and I cannot put a finger on the build quality. It is very easy to disassemble the whole thing and clean every part of the lid. The only trouble I have had is the "airhole" that ensures an even flow of liquid when you drink. Since I do not own a dishwasher, I have touble cleaning that single spot with my dish brush. The locking mechanism is a good feature, and I throw the thermos in my bag everyday without fearing for my books and documents. Several people have asked where I got this since they have to keep their thermos wrapped up in a bag because of leaks. Not with Zojirushi! Another good thing about the lid is the ability to open and close it with one hand. It is bacically the perfect mug for long car rides. You don't even have to take your eyes off the road to take a sip. And the most important part: YES it keeps your hot beverage hot. VERY hot. And for a very long time. I'm not a morning person, so I brew my coffee in the evening and pour it in my Zojirushi. 8 hours later it is still as hot as coffee should be. It is even able to keep it kinda warm until I'm going home 8 hours later, but at that point it is mostly lukewarm. But this brings me to why you maybe shouldn't buy this. My girlfriend HATES this thermos because her tea is simply too warm for her to drink. It is very easy to burn your toungue because you underestimate how hot the liquid is. So if you have a sensitive mouth, and not a battle hardened coffee mouth like mine, then you might not be as satisfied with this product as I am.

Frighteningly, and dangerously, good at keeping things hot !!!
I must admit I was a bit sceptical about the authenticity of some of the 'rave' reviews of this product but decided that on balance, even if I excluded some of the most gushing reviews, they couldn't all be over hyped and this was probably going to be a good buy. And boy, was I right. It arrived on Thursday approx 3 weeks after I ordered it, but it had to come from Japan so I was expecting it to take at least that long. The mug itself has a lovely, high quality, feel. Very lightweight but feels solid and sits nicely in the hand. I used it for the first time yesterday (Friday). It fits the cup holder in my Citroen perfectly, the first travel mug I've found that does! I made myself a coffee using our Nespresso machine before leaving for the school run and commute to Stoke at about 8:15. The coffee is usually drinkable straight from the machine, ie not scalding hot, and needs drinking reasonably quickly before it cools too much. I was drinking on the move so the mug was half empty. Y the time I got to Stoke, but the coffee was still at virtually the same drinkable temperature as when I poured it in an hour or more earlier !!! and was still hot enough to drink at 11:00 despite the mug being 3/4 empty by then. If I thought that was good, today blew me away. The wife made a coffee at 08:00 using the cafetierre. I took the train to Birmingham to a meeting and couldn't drink the coffee on the train - it was just too hot. I tried, in vain, to drink during my meeting but kept scalding my tongue! I left the lid open for almost the whole 4 hours I was in Birmingham to help the coffee cool down and it was still hot (almost scaldingly so) whilst I was travelling back in the afternoon! I have emptied the mug out this evening, a whole 12 hours after the coffee was poured into it, and it's still hot enough to drink !!!! I have absolutely no idea how it does it, but it has the most incredible insulation I have ever come across. It is frighteningly, and dangerously, good at keeping things hot. TIP!!! If you want to drink your drink within 8 hours of putting it into this thing make sure it's at a drinkable temperature when you start

Incredibly cold-proof after 3 years of busy use
More like a thermos flask than a classic traveller coffee mug, but therefore so much more effective. I've got a Trudeau mug which is the more classic shape and is a few years old, and quite good. But this beats it soundly in terms of length of time keeping the beverage hot. Also totally leak proof (unlike any other mug I have tried) and a slimmer size to slip into work bags, so more practical in that sense, too. Only tiny thing I have noticed is that the rather smart, sleek coloured coating has already been scratched in a couple of places (probably zips, getting in and out of bags etc), so if you care about that sort of thing, worth seeing if they do a plain stainless steel one. The spout is beautifully engineered and easy to use, though the flip up lid does rather obscure your face if you happen to be trying to talk to someone at the same time as sipping your brew. The top working parts all come apart easily for rinsing - I recommend doing this as soon as you can to prevent it having a permanent smell of coffee. Highly recommended, compared to other brands/types of travelling mug/container which I have found wanting in some way or another. 2017 - still very good but the rubber seal in the lid unit is showing signs of wear/mould and even anti-shower mould stuff won't shift it. Probably harmless but when I tried to find a spare part in the UK I had no luck. Am in Japan this year so will see if I can get a replacement part there - or see if the whole item is cheaper and just buy a new one.

Fantastic quality, simple is best. DOES NOT leak (just don/t over fill it and do close it tight)
Absolutely well worth the money. I cannot recommend enough. An investment worth the money. All components washable. only minor drawback is the small spout, does glugg if you want to drink fast, but you have to remember, if it was bigger you'd prob lose heat faster. Since this holds heat extraordinarily well, this is a compromise i am more than willing to make. It is also important to remember, taking regular sips will cool the contents of any vacuum mug, but having it made in the morning ready for 6 or even 8 hrs later and WOW, scalding hot, you have to start putting it in at the temp you want to drink it at. I have now bought three of these for other fam members and they love them too!

I have a confession. I am a bottle freak. This is because I love my drinks and prefer them either hot or cold - forget tepid (yuck). I have boxes full of bottles by brand, size, shape, and material. The only problem is that I have only one mouth and too many bottles. With that out of the way - the review. Okay, this is a review for the best all-rounder. A bottle I can carry from day to day. I demand a lot from my bottles and here is where it delivers. What I Love: 1. Keeps things Hot or Cold for a Long Time If I have an insulated vacuum bottle this is an absolute must. I want my coffee and hot chocolate hot and my ice tea iced. Nothing in between. This keeps things at temperature for hours. Hot stays piping hot for a least 4 hours and very hot 6-8 hours. Beyond that range you are may venture into acceptably warm. Cold drinks, in my opinion, don't stay cold as long, but then I also drink cold drinks faster. 2. Completely Sealed and Locks Down This thing does not spill. Period. An absolutely must. I can toss it into a bag willy-nilly and the liquid stays in. I have a lot of great bottles that give easy access but usually have to be kept upright or, if they have a button, there is not lock on it. The Zojiroushi locks so it is rock solid. 3. One Handed - Quick Drinking Access My completely sealed bottles are mainly screw tops. This means taking a few seconds to undo it and it takes two hands. My one handers usually have a button, but do not have button locks so an errant bump or push will soak your stuff. The Zojiroushi has a flip top and lock that can be operated one handed. Even with gloves on! 4. Easy to Clean Some bottles I love have mechanisms for sealing and delivery but what I hate about them is that they do not allow you to take it apart to clean. I don't want my ice tea to taste like coffee and vice versa. While this is a necessary reality unless you can splurge on dedicated bottles, the ability to clean every component allows you to remove taste profiles better. It is also, frankly, more hygienic. The Zojiroushi allows every component to be taken apart including the o-rings. Marvelous! 5. Espresso is the New Black I'm a guy, so although there were hot pink, champagne and powder blue options, I went with espresso. Frankly, it looks black and only on close examination and bright light can you tell it is a very deep dark brown. It looks very elegant. 6. Solid Materials and Construction The body (including the bottom) is made of aluminum an the screw-top is quality textured plastic with a metal button. The hinge on the pop top is solid and does not wobble when fully opened. Someone put a lot of time in designing this thing and it shows. It can probably take a beating, but putting a dent in it may make you cry because it's just too pretty. 7. Volume It is 16 oz. In Starbucksspeak, a Grande. So unless you need a venti (20oz) or trente (30oz), this is perfect. I do drink ventis but I shouldn't. In normal terms, it's 2.5 cups. Concerns: I wish the world was a perfect place, but sometimes there are a few niggling things. 1. You Pay for Perfection This will set you back a pretty penny. Imported from Japan, designed like the race car of drink bottles, I guess this is expected. Is it worth it? In my mind, yes. One bottle to rule them all (almost). I will be putting up a lot of my collection for adoption. 2. Too Big, Too Small If you want something dainty, despite its elegant good looks, it is 23cm (9") in height. This will not fit in your purse. If you prefer expressos, this bottle is overkill. On the flipside, if you are on a 20k hike and need a 4.5L camelbak, this is going to fall far short. This bottle is designed for urban survival, not the woods, hardcourt, or pitch. It matches the size of a sportdrink and you can keep it ice cold, but it is built for pleasure, not heavy hydration. Despite that fact that it can't fill those narrow niche needs, it fits nicely into the middle or Goldilocks zone - not too big, not too small. 3. Go With the Flow Some reviews are concerned about flow. This really is personal preference. I sip my coffee so it is fine as a sipper o even a drinker. What this bottle does not allow, however, is guzzling. This is due to the airflow balance it maintains as a sealed bottle. So if you need to down your cold drink in a jiffy, this isn't for you. I find the flow for cold drinks fine, but at a lower volume than a regular can or bottle. 4. Does it's Job Too Well Because it can keep things scalding hot for a long while, there is a learning curve, otherwise you will scald yourself. My hot drinks are usually at 185 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's perfect for sipping, but for those who bottle at higher temperatures, beware. Conclusion This bottle is the best I have found to date and given my obsession with drinking vessels, I will still continue to scan the horizon for contenders. For now, however, this seems like the total package and king of the hill.

Las bebidas están calientes incluso despues de 8h! Despues de 2-3h casi como lo has preparado. Es diseño muy durable. la única desventaja: un poco dificil limpiar la parte donde se bebe.
