This kit is the best. You couldn’t get much better than this. Other controllers I have used and motors I had would frequently burn up regardless of what I did to help cool them down. This controller and motor run so smooth and do not overheat at all. I have about 5 miles on it so far and have not had one issue yet. The controller is fully programmable through the lcd display and is very easy to understand. The wiring is very easy to understand as most all of the connections only have 1 possible connector they go to. Can’t really mess it up. As for the power, oh boy. This baby moves. With myself and batteries on this aluminum frame 26” mountain bike at approximately 250 lbs, I can easily do 33mph the entire time. The battery size and amperage output does play a big part in power and speed of the motor so make sure you have the correct battery. The more AH capacity, the faster you go. Now for the customer service. Anne has been a huge help. She was very fast to reply to emails and then to messages on what’s app. If I had any questions she always provided me with as much information and help as she could and was always so friendly. I haven’t dealt with someone so pleasant is so long, it was very enjoyable, refreshing, and just made me feel appreciated. If your looking for a project or parts, this is the place to get them from. The shipping times don’t always reflect the actual ship time. I got my kit in about 1 week. When you make your order, Anne will get ahold of you and verify your exact parts and anything else that you may need so when you get the kit, it is a direct bolt up with as little to no modification needed. It’s been 2 riding seasons now, after battling some battery issues and increasing battery capacity, I have found that this set up will actually do close to 45 mph without pedaling!!! Which is insane on a bike and makes you want more. I am still super satisfied with the capability of this motor and controller. It works so well it leaves me wanting more. However to much more and I’m afraid I may burn it up. Always keep power ratings at their rated level and don’t try to over run the system. If you want to go faster get the higher rated system. I have close to 600 miles on this system so far and am planning on building a side car to take my son with me to work during the spring and summer. I plan on running this set up for many years and if anything ever happens to it, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another, however next time I may buy the higher rated system and really see what it can do. Remember however, these are bicycle parts. Most bicycles aren’t built to go that fast constantly. Take care of your bikes and make sure they are safe to travel at those speeds.

Besides a little tweaking to an older frame, motor and components went on easy enough. Engine rated for 72v battery but I opted for the 52v Hailong. I know a lot of people will say go for the bigger battery but I promise 52 was enough. Plenty of power and speed. 32mph was my top before I ran out of road Customer service was great. When I first messaged the company about some questions with the settings, I expected at least a week before hearing back..try about an hour! With the time change I was pretty surprised. Super helpful. One note I would say, when you get the large rim, look for any sharp points inside where the tube will sit. Try filing them down. Also run a couple of strips of electrical tape to help out the liner. First day I rode my bike I got a flat.

works great I had it for a over a year now on a bike I built with 52v battery I get that thing going 30+mph have not had any problems and I even road it across to other states for sight seeing and trails it is awesome

first off when I iniiated a return amazon ok the return and the company that sold the hub immediately responded with we cannot take the wheel back because it is now a used hub.. I have a 2000 watt hub that has poor performance of the line till you hit 9mph not good if your crawling around tight trails and the top end never exceeded 30mph when a 2000 watt motor is supposed to go from 38-43 mph.. I dicked around with these guys for 3 weeks and all they could say did you check this on your parameter settings and did you do that...yes i did...then at the very end they asked me how fast the tire would spin with no load and it achieved greater than the speculated speed...and they said that is normal and apologized for the misrepresentation. The speeds I expected were 38-40 mph with a average sized rider like myself 220pounds they fought me on the return till I had enough.. it was not worth the aggravation at this point. please be wary when you buy from them there are good reviews and there are reviews like mine.. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.. There are other company's out there in the USA that guarantee returns please use them

I have put together a lot of e-bike kits and this one is way more powerful and sinewave controller is very smooth. I am using it with a 52 volt 20 ah battery and a 60 volt 20ah battery from Luna cycle. With the 60 volt battery it goes 40 mph which is way fast enough on a bike . The batteries are quality and allow for the amp draw. This kit blows away the $200.00 kits on ebay. The motor and controller are much beefier. Use a torque arm.

I usually don't write reviews but I was very impressed with their customer service. I chatted with them on WhatsApp and they answered every question I had. Even providing pictures to my questions. I bought this to upgrade a 2019 RadCity. Thing takes off like a bullet. My top speed with the stock 48v battery is 31mph. I am 5'10" and 160lbs. I am going to upgrade the battery next. This also has cruise control. If you hold the down arrow for a second or 2 while giving throttle input,the "walk" will light up and you are in cruise control mode! Very useful on long straight runs if you want to relax a bit and stretch somewhat. With the RadCity stock battery (48v 14ah) using heavy throttle all the time and no pedal assistance I get a consistent 14 miles of range. Enough to go to work and back. ^^^^****400 mile update August 2022^^^^*** Still running strong!!! Just paired it with a 72v 19.2ah battery. Top speed on flat ground with my 160# body is 40mph. Haven't tested range yet,but full throttle with no pedal assist it sucked 20% battery in 6 miles. The cool thing is that I mounted the 48v 14ah battery on the luggage rack and it is just a few simple clicks to swap from the 72v setting to the 48v setting to set the parameters of the controller. The controller doesn't seem to get hot after riding 6.5 miles at full throttle. The motor was noticeable warm....like if you hold a cat in your lap...noticeable warm but not hot. Will update again at 1000 miles.

Okay, let me start by saying I've purchased this product twice. The first time was to upgrade an e-scooter I had with a more powerful motor. Installation wasn't bad, my only issue is the hub motors wiring harness location is a very poor design. In order to mount the hub, the wiring has to be pulled to a ninety-degree angle and has no room to move once the wheel is bolted, leaving it to rub against the frame and at some point, I’m sure into the wiring itself. Regardless, the upgrade went fine and overall, I was satisfied with the purchase. Then one day, after about two months, there was an error message on the display, and the motor no longer worked. I contacted the manufacturer; they responded quickly saying my controller had gone bad and they were shipping a new one. Once that one was installed everything worked great. Then one week later the scooter was stolen. This all happened about two years ago. So recently I purchased a new scooter and upgrade kit to go through the whole process a second time. Unfortunately, it was a much different experience. Having completed the same installation process as before, I went to start it up and the display would not turn on. I went back and forth with the manufacturer trying to troubleshoot the situation. They would have me run a test. I would send them the results, and then a different person would have me run the same test again. This went on for quite a while, before I broke down and ended up just purchasing another display from them for $107 dollars. With the new display installed, I tested the motor and was horrified to discover the wheel was so badly warped it was un-ride able. Thier response was to take it to a bike shop?! Having no other choice I did, out of pocket as well, where I was told they could not true it because the rim had been so badly bent. I passed this information on three weeks ago and as of this moment, have yet to receive a response. Be aware it’s a very good price point on a crap shoot. I would look elsewhere to buy.
