AT3 Tactical RCO Red Dot Sight with Circle Dot Reticle

23 Jun 20 Update: The new replacement optic was received and my initial issue were corrected. Cant fault them because this is a new release optic. Not my favorite acss style reticle but it does the job! Pros: Very clear glass Good reticle Lightweight Sturdy Build Comes with a boatload of accessories Budget friendly! Cons: When going back and forth between objects the reticle is stuttering. Can definitely see the emitter from the front of the optic! All in all i thinks its high value and low budget with plenty of mounting options and quality lens covers and bikinis. Cant really say its good for duty use but i think plinking would be nice. Future update for when this optics get some range time in. 19 Jun 20 Update: I was able to get in touch with the company and express my concerns. They quickly and respectfully responded and are sending a new one. Fingers crossed but im hopeful for this new one. I really like how the sight is really lightweight however it feels as though its not durable. This is just at first glance and no range time yet. I have my doubts for sure. The circle dot reticle is what i was looking for but it is not crisp and has a really low refresh rate so when scanning up down left and right it seems as though the reticle is skipping across the surface. No sure if i should see if this is just manufacturing issue but i have plenty of low budget optics and this does not cut it.

I'm thoroughly impressed with quality of this sight. It's really nicely finished. It looks, feels, and functions like units that are WAY more expensive. The included mounts are solid as well and allow several heights and configurations. The glass is super clear and the reticle is sharp. There is plenty of brightness settings. I used it in dim light under cover at an outside range and bright indoor lighting as well with no issues. It has also worked perfectly in bright sunlight during outdoor USPSA matches on my AR9 PCC. Reticle is quick to pick up and get on target quickly. If I could change anything I would prefer a 30mm tube but it works as is. I will probably buy more of these and recommend it highly. I picked up this particular Red Dot from AT3 mainly because of the 2 MOA with 62 MOA reticle display. Excellent target acquisition with adequate FOV for my application. I paired the RCO with my new FM AR-45 in 5.5" configuration. The RCO was easy to sight in and with the heavy blowback of a .45 its holding zero fine as several hundred rounds. If you are looking for a high quality Red Dot with an excellent price point AT3 is the way to go. Additionally, their warranty coverage and phenomenal customer support is an added bonus. Highly recommend this product.

If you want to critique this optic and complain about features it doesn't have. Spend your money elsewhere. Now onto my review. The RCO is a great inexpensive optic. Perfect for most red dot applications. Variable brightness settings work well, the 62 MOA is just right for target accusation. The 2 MOA dot doesn't cover up your target an allows for finesse targeting. The guys at AT3 are making good products, yeah Chinese made , but some of you complain about $400 optics too. Get the RCO, mount it , sight it in and enjoy your new toy. There's always someone who will complain, don't be THAT guy. The rantings and review from an old guy. 😎🎯

I'm very impressed with this red dot. The circle dot reticle is very nice. The red dot came with all the mounting hardware needed for any application. It came with a battery in the unit and one extra battery. Mounting this red dot was very easy to do. The unit is very bright and easy to look through in any light conditions. Nice touch from AT3 Tactical was a follow up email with some PDF files with three different targets to print off, for use in sighting in the Red Dot once it is on your rifle. I will buy this red dot again for my next rifle.

For an economical optic this one can't be beat. I have it on one of my AR's that gets a ton of use. After a 500 round day on the range it doesn't loose zero. And I abuse the heck out of my gear doing drills for three gun, defensive maneuver drills and teaching classes. I've also used one on an AR 10. The extra recoil and concussion doesn't seem to phase it. It is no less accurate than my EOTECHs or AimPoints. Can't tell you how long it will last but I have had a couple of these in use for 3 years. Still working

Took 3 shots to have it zeroed at 25yards on my pcc. Zero windage adjustment needed. Has my favorite circle/dot sight picture, seems really well made, love the controls. Dot looks fine under magnification. It’s my ideal setup. Hope it lasts! The first one I received had a stripped screw. I honestly like this sight so much I don’t care.
