I got this for my electronic test equipment and it is nice and small as the usb socket is in the front of the analyzer so I didn't want to get a big usb stick, this is backwards compatible with usb 2, I did test this on my pc with usb 3 and it works well, but I got this to save screen shots to and it works well and great priceThanks Dave 2E0DMB

Small and compact, ideal to store my music on and use it in the cars USB port.It's very quick, writing at 128mb / second while transfering all my music files from my PC via a USB3 port.It has been very stable in my car, which can get quite hot inside in the summer, and reads the files very quickly.

I have bought two of these overall. The first one started to physically fall apart after a few months of use (pictured without the black plastic part), so to ensure I don't lose my files I bought another. For some reason, the second one is too snug for the port and it was a struggle to get it in without force. After using it once to put some files onto it (it worked fine once I actually got it in), when I went to use it the second time nothing appears. Not just the files, but it isn't recognised by the laptop and nothing shows up to say anything was connected, even when I use a usb to usbc converter (as I thought it could be due to the weird physical size of it) but no, nothing. Luckily I have other backups of my work, but if I hadn't then I'd be in trouble!

Wanted to use these as back ups to transfer files between pc and resin printer. Data transfer is frustratingly slow. Should have checked if they were usb3 before I bought them!
