Good bang for the buck
These headphones rock! A bit heavy, but they are studio grade, I only ever had just basics. The sound is great, they totally block out outside noise, I use them on my laptop. Good quality, sturdy, and price is very good. Ya can't go wrong!

Best upgrade I’ve ever made
Sounds amazing, I really got picky with my music but this satisfies me thoroughly, I still want to get an amp to push the lows a bit more otherwise fantastic bang for the buck and they are comfortable.

Great Headphones for Podcast Monitoring
I purchased two of the studio headsets and have a few points to make. The reason for the 4 star vs 5 star review is mostly because of the branding visuals. I do my podcast on video and it's distracting with the bright white name on the headband and logos on the side. If only those were muted a bit. I ended up using a paint pen for the headband. I'm ok with the side logos. The only other downside to these is the coiled cord. I know people love them but they are so frustrating to me. I am running these only a few feet from a mixer, under my desk (to not be on the controls) to behind by shoulder and to my head (so it doesn't show up on video). It doesn't reach. I've started taping a piece to the desk and stretching it to my head but it pulls back on me. I'll be looking for a better cord option. Aside from that, amazing headsets. They are incredibly comfortable after several hours of wear at a time, quality is pretty solid overall but the sound quality is great. Not too bassy, not too bland. I feel that what I'm hearing is an accurate representation of what the mixer is putting out and being recorded. I had this paired with a Maonocaster and everything worked great. I've since upgraded to a Yamaha MGX12V. Also pairs well. One thing to note, the noise cancellation is pretty solid. I have a co-host that I can't hear when wearing the headphones so I monitor from the mixer. She's roughly 6 feet away from me. All in all, great budget headphones. Can't go wrong with them. Image attached that shows the headphones on the bottom right. The mixer is at arms length from me while sitting. So you can see why I'm annoyed with the cord situation. It's not far. Now if Maono can just come out with a shadow headset without the white branding... OR they want to sponsor my podcast and I'll flaunt those logos all day long. 😆

Decently flat, decently built, decently comfortable
I’m was fairly impressed even though I expected good things. Maono is a real up and comer in the budget audio world and these headphones hit their mark. The response if fairly flat. The bass is rather thin, it’s there but doesn’t pack as much of a punch as you would expect on mx30s or mx40s. The ear cups are round, but they are large enough to go over my ear without causing any discomfort. The build feels solid. They are all plastic, including the adjustment band, but that’s not a problem for me. Metal adjustment bands are worth anything if their attaching plastic piece fails (looking at the Audio Technia line with that one) The included cable and screw on adapters are machined nice and fit well into everything I’ve plugged them into. They do require some burn in, so don’t judge them right away. Right out of the box they mids and highs were harsh and the bass was pretty much absent. After some burn in (about 2 weeks of regular use) they sound like completely different headphones. Impressively smooth for the price point. Would definitely recommend them for someone who just needs a cheap pair for tracking and listening for details on solo tracks.

Exceptional Audio
For a budget pair of studio monitor headphones, these are exceptional. The soundstage is close to neutral and there is zero line noise. I can hear every detail as I record and edit the audio for my videos. They even look good! Haha. As I've said in the past, I'm no audiophile. I've just got regular ears that enjoy music....So here's a review from a regular eared person. I have another set of over-ear monitors (ATH-M40X) that are double the price. I've had them since 2015 and they're still going strong. Honestly after five years of using those and a week of using these...There isn't that big of a difference! Strange as it sounds, these are very close in audio quality. I'd say the M40X is a bit more neutral, but these are not far off. Pros 1. Neutral - not a huge amount of added bass, treble, mids, highs, lows, whatever. Almost FLAT. Highs are a bit more pronounced than with the M40X, but that could also be because these carry 50mm drivers as opposed to the 40mm drivers on the M40X. 2. 50mm drivers - huge, clean sound. Nothing was muddy at any volume. 3. Comfort - lightweight and very well padded. They fit my giant head without causing pressure, even after several hours of use at a time. 4. Connections - 3.5mm OR 6.35mm connections. 5. Cable - this twisted cable. It's SHORT, too, so no extra cable dangling on the floor or bundled up on the desk. Perfect for small studio spaces where everything is right at hand. Predominantly, I will be using these in recording and editing voices for my videos. For that scenario, these are fantastic. Lots of detail. MOANO just does a great job with budget studio equipment. I've also used these to listen to some music - ran them through my usual series of headphone testing songs. Everything sounded fantastic. I connected these to my phone with Hi-Fi DAC, to my laptop with Hi-Fi DAC, to my Hi-Res MP3 player/DAC, and to my home stereo system. The sound remains just about the same no matter how I'm connected or what I'm connected to. The LG V60 is powerful enough to run these! Seriously, nothing sounded off or weird. All genre of music sounded exactly the way the artists intended. These studio monitors are really an exceptional buy. My only complaint is that the cups don't rotate like on the M40X. Not that big of a deal, though. I really like these.

Fantastic sound, but terrible build
The sound quality of these headphones is fantastic. However, one of the speakers broke off at the joint. The little screw could not be replaced and did not fasten the speaker back to the body of the headphones. It's a shame because the speaker still works. I tried tape and crazy glue, but nothing seems to work with these things. I have been hesitant to purchase another pair only because of the build quality. But again, the sound is topnotch.
