I remodeled my bathroom and added 6,000 outlets because I had to work with one incorrectly wired outlet pre bathroom remod. I put a total of four outlets in my bath vanity for my hairdryer. I had the electrician install these outlets with a nightlight and this outlet with USB outlets: Legrand Radiant 15A Tamper-Resistant, Self-Test, Type-A/C USB GFCI Outlet, White in the bath vanity. After staring at a computer screen all day, I don’t want to see more bright lights but want the ability to easily see where the outlets are without turning on the light. These outlets let me blow dry my hair in the dark which is awesome. I also installed two of these outlets under the bathroom mirror and above the sink. The nightlight feature is nice and bright. This means that I don’t have occupy an outlet by plugging in a nightlight. Practical and functional. I have not seen an outlet which has a built In nightlight and USB plugs. I had to buy a separate outlet with USB plugs and put then nearby these outlets to make sure that I had electrical outlets and USB options covered. These work great. I highly recommend.

Love it. Light turn off automatically with light in room getting brighter. Can always see the plug at night. Easy to install. Not too bright. Perfect brightness. Fits perfect. Will need a box about 2.5” or deeper, which is easy due to newer replacement work boxes that have adjustable tabs. Hold up to a good electric load.

Easy install and no more nightlight is needed. Have installed many of these over the last year in both bathrooms and kitchens. Make sure your replacement GFCI matches the circuit load, as in 15amps or 20amps. Great light output with GFCI safety. Easy to install with great Leviton engineering, durability and quality. Superior to other brands in my experience since the 1970s. Tip; GFCIs wear out so please test routinely and replace when they fail, Safety first folks!

works good, nice size. Light not super bright but a good nightlight. goes off when lights are on. Feels well built, holds wires tight.

High quality and works as advertised and UL tested

We used to plug nightlights into our outlets, which takes up space --- not to mention an outlet. We recovered both the space and the outlet with these outlets with the built in guidelight. They provide a good amount of light (not too much or too little come the middle of the night). Very happy with them. We're hoping the light lasts a long time.

Came across this outlet on social media but since I’m well aware of Leviton I jumped at this as soon as I saw the night light feature. Our previous night light occupied one of the outlets and although it was nice to have, being limited to essentially one outlet was annoying and inconvenient. The brightness of the integrated night light, in my opinion, is appropriate. I would say it mimics the brightness of the plug-in night light but it’s not as soft. The outlet’s night light is sharp but not painful to the eye. It provides sufficient light to see the bathroom and navigate in it. As for the sensitivity of the sensor, it turns on at the slightest dimness. The night light gets brighter as the room gets darker. Installation is straight forward and any DIYer will have no problem with it. Take it one wire at a time. Overall, both my wife and I really like merely for the fact that we gained back our other outlet. No more forgetting to plug in the toothbrush charger after blow drying their hair.

Easy install and works perfectly. I find the Tamper Resistance on Leviton to be one of the better done systems where you don't have to put all your weight into whatever you are plugging in to have it engage properly. The light is subtle but bright enough for the night. Perfect for children and adults.

We have an outlet that is very close to our sink and I've had this as a project to fix for a while now. It's quite unsafe to have a standard outlet so close to a water source. Not only is it unsafe, but it's not up to code. I figured it was time replace this old outlet with a proper one. I stuck the Leviton brand mainly because I know they meet all the strict Canadian guidelines for certification in safety. There were several other "off brands" that were much cheaper, but the Leviton brand just gives me peace of mind. Installation was super easy. They don't have the "push-in" style connectors like other do but I don't mind that. Those are just too easy to break if you want to remove it. Instructions included (if you need them) were clear and simple. The switch also allows for feeding another outlet if you want. Once it was put in place, I turned the breaker on. I had to reset it to get it to work as it's tripped by default. The outlets themselves are quite tight when you plug stuff in. The night light feature is great. Now I can get rid our plug-in night light. Granted it's not quite as bright as a plug in, but it certainly does the job well. Just be aware that you cannot turn it off. Its photocell activated. Overall, it's a great outlet and it's much safer for my family and I now. I highly recommend this one especially if you want a little night light feature. Pros: Reputable brand Easy install Night light is great! Cons: Very tight to plug in and out (may loosen with time?) No way to turn off night light
