Very attractive and holds a lot of hair
This hair barrette is a bit deceiving as you would not think this size would hold a lot of hair, but it does! It is curved in such a way that it holds more hair than others of the same size. Nice and sturdy and I know will last. I have thick long hair and am very pleased to have found this line of products.

This is a great hairpiece - one of my favorites. Sophisticated and elegant - perfect for work.

Broke After Only a Few Days
I do not have super thick hair, but one of these clips just popped off like it was an overtaxed button on a pair of jeans after only a couple of days. The clip part detached from the plastic design part. It's a shame because I like the design. I might superglue it to another, more sturdy clip. Still, disappointing.

Very pretty
This is a strong barrette that holds all my fine but thick hair. I wear my hair all back in a ponytail style with this barrette. The Barrett stays in place all day, is comfortable, not heavy. I have worn it several times and would definitely buy again in another style.

Just OK
I got the checkered one and it's very pretty. The only issue is the clip, as others have mentioned. It stays in my hair (I have straight hair), but it could slide out easily. I don't have confidence that it'll last the day. It's just not a strong clip.

Doesn't stay in place
It does hold on place It slips out of my hair easily. It's cute. But I tend to pull my hair back in a pony and then using the clip on top of the band.

Good for thick hair
Even though it said on product description that it was for thick hair, when it arrived I was skeptical. It is small, but it was great for my thick, curly hair, quickly became a favorite.

Not good for thick hair and smaller than post says it is
Looks so pretty in the Amazon post but when it arrived it was way smaller than the post said it was. I have thick hair and I couldn't even close the clasp. Still pretty but not as big as post says it is. Would be fine if you have very fine hair. Mine was returned.
