I think these protein bars taste great. They have a good consistency, not too chewy or with a thick sensation, but also not too crispy. I have been trying out different bars lately, and these are my favorite. Nice little caffeine boost helps get me through the day. (I eat them at lunch.) Keeps me satisfied until dinner. Has a little more sugar than I usually eat, but not a terrible amount. I just cut down on sweets in different areas. High amount of fiber moderates the sugar and keeps me from crashing. These will definitely be my go-to protein bar for the foreseeable future.

Picked these up after seeing a review video, and I was not disappointed. I've been a frequent consumer of the MetRX Big 100 bars due to their great flavor and crispy textures, but wanted something a little lighter. These deliver. The coffee flavor is delicious, has that crispy candy bar texture that makes it enjoyable, and none of the aftertaste you typically associate with most protein bars. I also love that it contains a small-ish amount of caffeine, as I am a heavy consumer of coffee to get through long work days, and have found that caffeinated food products tend to let me cut back on how much I need throughout the day. I will definitely be buying these again.

This was an amazing deal for the price at the time. These bars are very good with a nice coffee and chocolate flavor, good crunch, and chewiness. Love the taste for a protein bar and love the added caffeine for the morning or sleepy afternoon. I never get tired of eating these.

I ordered the Coffee Crunch. As with the majority of protein bars with high protein (>18Gms or so), these have a gritty consistency, though it's tolerable. What wasn't tolerable were the cardiac palpitations (increased heart rate with pounding), the shakiness/nervousness, and the overall restless feelings of "jitteriness" I had after eating one bar. I typically drink 2-3 cups of coffee per day (and/or tea or soda) without any adverse effects, so I was surprised and, I admit, somewhat concerned. Imagine my surprise when the contents listed Yerba Mate as an ingredient - a plant-based ingredient that is usually consumed in South America and that mimics the effects of strong caffeine. It is used to promote wakefulness, increased energy, etc. While I understand that these are traits that some see as a good thing in a protein bar, I would prefer that this ingredient not be added -- or at the very least, be listed as an ingredient in the description so one is forewarned BEFORE buying them. Like I said, I can drink coffee/tea/soft drinks without any adverse effects, but I did not care at all for the negative effects of the yerba mate. These bars are expensive and the fact that there is nothing anywhere on the website about this ingredient being included (except on the individual bars AFTER you've already purchased them) makes me seriously put the brakes on the other flavors and what might be in THEM.

Hard as a rock, I checked the expiration date and it’s good till 2026. You have to cut them up and eat pieces of them or you’ll break your teeth and the taste is just OK for me.

When I first tasted a Probar it was the Coffee Crunch flavor. It blew all other protein bars away, and despite the price, I ended up ordering a box of this flavor. The texture, the size, the quality. It's all there. I can barely finish one and it's a great energy bar if you don't have time to eat. The only problem is that I'm already sick of the taste. It quickly got old and if I could go back in time, I would've gotten the variety pack. Not sure if I'd ever even want to eat the Coffee Crunch again. Still trying to get through the box. If you're new to Probar, I would buy the individual bars somewhere else to try them out. Getting a box is a bit of a commitment.

The last two or three times I purchased these they look old. Taste OK but a little dry. r

Consistent taste and texture. Enjoy the coffee and chocolate flavor. Good protein macros.

These protein bars have a nice crunch and lots of flavor. They aren't overly sweet and they keep us feeling full for a long time.
