This is the Lux version of the old 4 color pen from Bic. As an old-school working pro I've learned to talk to my phone for most note taking, but I still like to scribble in notebooks too. This pen is ideal for my style of scribbling and has lasted over a year of daily use on the original ink. Mine was still made in Japan too.

Replacement ink. Easier to find here than in the store. Used to be, I'd go to a stationary store, but many of you probably don't know what that is, so Amazon is much easier! 👍🏻

Exactly what I needed! My favorite pen is a pink Dr.Grip 4+1 that I got in Japan, and it writes impossibly smooth. Loved it, til I ran out of ink, and I was distraught! Little did I know this refill exists, and it fits perfectly, and writes just as smooth as the original ink! Satisfied customer :) recommend the ink and the pen!

This pen is perfect with the different color options and a pencil. Bought it because of its thick barrel, which helps me hold it with my arthritis.

I am addicted to this pen and continually need refills. I write constantly in notebooks and use all the colors. The ink glides smoothly and rarely ever globs up. I put these refill packs in numerous places: in my desk, in my backpack, Bible bag, and anywhere else I can access it. The price is reasonable and I switch between using the 0.5 and 0.7 mm inks. They both fit in my Dr. Grip 4+1, but the 0.7 mm is best for most of my writing needs. I keep 2 Dr. Grip pens in my pockets so I never run out of ink while I am writing. It's my favorite pen. I have it in various colors.

I wish that Pilot woudn't restrict marketing of their Dr. Grip 4+1 to Japan! It is the most versatile pen you can carry. However, unlike some of their other models like the Center of Gravity and the Dr. Grip Gel that come with jumbo ink refills, by nature this model must use skinny refills that can drain rapidly. I'm glad that all four refills in this pack come with stopper slugs, because these refills have an unfortunate track record of developing air-locks as they are used. To extend their life, all you have to do is extend a paper clip and push the slug down to force the air bubbles out and get use of all the ink you paid for.

was wondering how I could replace the pen cartridges without having to buy new pens. I love my pen

Dr. Grip is my favorite pen. The ink writes with clean, bold lines. I use all the time and always need these refills

Excellent replacement refills. Can be fitted easily. Ink quality is excellent but I find them quite expensive as nowadays a same pen is available at lesser cost than the refills in some websites.
