This is by NO means a paid review....just an honest mama with a pre-kindergartener who loves the whiteboard.I put together a side-by-side showdown and even included a pic: the letter “E” was drawn with the popular Expo brand, while “A” shows off the Amazon Basics marker. These Amazon Basics dry erase markers are excellent. The colors are vibrant, the ink flows smoothly, and they erase cleanly. In my experience, they outperform the Mr. Pen dry erase markers and even the markers included with the HOMiDEK magnetic whiteboard set. I feel like the ink flows better as you keep writing with it too. No smell or odor. Not too bulky, which is a plus for storage.

These wrote very nicely!! The color is very bright and pigmented. I was pleasantly surprised by yellow, but the green color is closer to teal. Other than that, they match the lid colors. It’s a nice assortment with an extra black, which I think is great! Pink, yellow, blue, and orange are smudgy when dry erased. The rest erase dry very well

These write great. They’re easy to write with and are actually dark markers. Only downside is they’re hard to erase, so I can’t erase the board quickly. Because of this I returned them, Amazon gave me a full refund and told me to keep the product (thank you, Amazon!) I then bought Expo markers and they weren’t great. I could hardly see them on my whiteboard straight out of the box. I ultimately chucked the Expos and went back to these. I was grateful Amazon let me keep the product so I could. I saw it as a donation to my classroom.

Our kids, bless their creative hearts, went through reams of paper a week with their coloring obsession. Every sheet of paper was a fresh canvas, usually for a single, magnificent scribble before being crumpled and discarded like a forgotten treasure map.We have a white board and bought these markers hoping to curb the deforestation happening in our living room, and it has delivered beyond our wildest dreams! The kids are still drawing their masterpieces, but now with the satisfying "whoosh" of the erase button instead of the agonizing rip of a new sheet.Our only regret? Not buying these sooner. Our recycling bin is finally taking a much-needed break, and I can almost hear the trees sighing in relief. If you're tired of living in a paper tornado, hit that "add to cart" button. Good color variety. Bought these to replace old ones at work that weren’t very good. The way they glide on the board is so satisfying. Very vibrant, bold colors that show up perfectly- even the yellow! Just as good if not better than the name brands at the store

I’m a huge fan of the Amazon Basics brand- I’m always happy with and impressed by the quality of their items, in everything from clothes to household supplies etc. So I was excited to try these, but as I wrote in the title.. “Not ecstatic, but not unhappy”.The colors are a nice variety but the ink consistency isn’t really consistent at all (lol). Half of them are the almost watery/more faded colors and the other half are heavier in the ink; making the colors vivid, but an annoying mess to erase. Even in the 2 black markers there’s the same watery vs. heavy ink difference despite technically being the same.It may sound crazy to go into this much detail but I’m an artist- and I love to doodle and write with my dry erase boards/markers (but hate the often ridiculous prices for them.) I’m not upset enough to return them but won’t be ordering them again.
