Just a really solid folding utility knife. A lot of folding knives are a little flimsy - fine for cutting boxes, but for things like carpet they struggle. The bigger knives that are great for those tough jobs tend to be larger and heavier, fine in a toolbox but a bit much in a pocket. This Milwaukee hits the middle ground perfectly. Folds neatly in the pocket, unfolds to a solid knife you can use on the toughest jobs. It's my most used knife. Builders keep nicking it so I have to buy is again. Note for UK: since the blade locks in place, this isn't legal as an every day carry. It wouldn't be as safe or secure if it didn't lock (the UK law is stupid).

Glad I took a punt on this after reading some reviews. I actually really only needed a decent blade for box cutting but thought I’d get something sturdier just in case I ever need it and I’m glad I did. The included blade is razor sharp and has no trouble gliding through thick cardboard like butter, with very little effort. It’s compact enough to pocket if you’re working, and light in the hand without compromising on build quality thanks to the metal grip. It’s also not remotely bulky either. The blade locks in place when open, which is easily done by pressing the release and flicking the wrist, and when you’re done it sits flush and locked inside the handle, so it feels nice and safe too. The only real drawback for me is that it didn’t include any extra blades for the future, but otherwise this is an absolutely perfect knife that should last a good while and handle a good range of tough jobs. Side note for UK buyers: because of the locking mechanism there are legal restrictions in place if you’re ever carrying this outside the home without good reason, so do bare that in mind!

I love this knife. It’s really useful. It’s very sturdy and I also like the blade storage feature. The blades don’t pull out when you put pressure on them unlike some other knives and it has a really satisfying opening mechanism where you can flick the knife open and it’s really satisfying.

Lovely. I bought this rather than use work knives. Now I always have a sharp knife. And no searching for invariably blunt knives. Honestly I have only used it as a knife so far. Not needed the wire stripper or cord cutting/gutter. It works very well. And it looks pretty to boot. There is minimal unwanted movement in the blade assembly. It feels nice in the hand. What more can be said?

The clip is strong and stays put on your pocket or belt, and the overall build quality feels exactly like what you’d expect from Milwaukee: tough, practical, and made to be used. If you’re looking for a solid EDC knife that gets the job done without trying to be flashy, this one’s a winner.
