Command Hooks, Medium, Clear, 2-Hooks (17091CLR-ES)

Easy to use. No problems using the product.

I wanted to hang a grocery bag holder inside my pantry but I did not want to use a nail or push pin. I try to avoid making mark on my walls whenever I can, so I ordered this hook from my trusted brand - Command. Now I’m sure you can find cheaper ones with off-brand names. But at this price point, I did not want to sacrifice any quality. I love how the adhesive is clear since the hook is also clear. It does not cause an eye sore - although I know no one really sees inside my pantry :) I followed the directions and cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol, then pressed on the adhesive for 30 seconds, put the hook on and pressed another 30 seconds. It suggests to wait for an hour to hang something, but honestly the item I hung was so light that I did not think I had to wait. So after only a few mins I hung my grocery bag holder and voila! Did not disappoint. It did not budge. I’ll stick with Command whenever I can!

They were perfect for what I was looking for. Actually got two pairs, so four hooks in total which was a nice surprise. They are a medium size. Didn’t use the sticker that comes with it because it very light and I don’t think it will hold much so I used a large Velcro command sticker instead.

These hooks showed up in one piece even though they were put into bubble wrap bag with no protection. the packing inside looked a little beat up, like they were dropped and scraped across a dirty floor. other than that they are working fine. I used them to hang bathrobes, which are definitely heavier than 2 pounds and after two days they are still holding strong. I followed directions on the package and let the hooks sit for over an hour before hanging anything on them.

I appreciate this product won’t damage my walls

I have used various sizes of clear and white hooks around our new rental residence. I have learned and confirmed with 3M that a force perpendicular to the wall will release the hook from the tape (not the tape from the wall.) I was hanging wire sculptures of low weight but the shape of the wire was trying to lift the hook from the wall. Using clear fishing line or reshaping the wire so the force was purely down into the hook seems to be working. Also, I found that removing left behind tape requires same action as removing a hook - press the tape with one thumb and pull the tape down a foot or so stretching it out. Just pulling on the tape pulled bits of paint off.

It worked for about 3 weeks, then the hook part fell off the adhesive, sending my very expensive and delicate wreath crashing to the floor and damaging it. The issue is the hook staying adhered to the adhesive on the wall--the hook just fell off while the adhesive stayed on the wall. My wreath is super light and well below the weight limit. The adhesive part came off easily when I removed it and didn't damage my wall. I do not recommend this product--I can get my money back for the product (it happened within the return time window) but no one is compensating me for the damage to my wreath.

I have used these hooks many times, I especially like them for hanging my Christmas wreath on the glass panel of the front door. The instructions clearly explain how to apply and remove them and when followed the hook sticks securely. I haven’t tried anything very heavy but for light items they work really well.

Jag hade en krok med en sugpropp på en innerdörr i köket för att hänga upp ett förkläde och en diskhanduk. Rätt som det var lossnade sugproppen och sakerna låg på golvet. När jag hade monterat krokarna Command 17091CLR med remsor så blev det väldigt bra. De sitter där de sitter och ramlar inte ner. Dessutom lämnar de ju inga märken om man skulle ta ner dem vid en flytt. Jag är väldigt nöjd med dem.

Love it!! Totally useful when you don't want to damage walls or paint. Totally peels out whenever your ready to remove it. Great for Christmas decorations.
