Imitation Gold Leaf Sheets - 14 x 14 Booklet (Loose)

Love this!! Beautiful sheen, very, very shiny, a true gold color, smooth texture. Exactly what I was looking for in terms of functionality. Gives frames 🖼️ etc a luxurious shine ! I haven’t been able to find a paint with this type of luster and sheen . I painted the frame 🖼️ with regular glue then tore pieces of the leaf and placed them on the glue with a paintbrush. I’m not a professional mind you, There’s a good amount too. I did this whole frame and still have plenty more left in the package.

Good product as described

This is very nice material. It looks like real gold. I put it on a cake plate that ornate decorations along the side. It filled in the small spaces well and was easy to apply.

My first time trying gilding and these worked great! After watching videos and reading up, I ordered adhesive which came with an application brush, this gold foil, some brushes, and cotton gloves. Then, when I opened this package I discovered that it included a pair of cotton gloves! I have very long fingers, so the others I'd ordered fit better, but that was a nice surprise. I've only done one test piece so far. I didn't get the adhesive perfectly even so a couple of spots were thicker and therefore still a bit too moist when I applied the foil. Those spots wrinkled and have more texture than the rest. The other bits, though, are great! As I get better at even application, these sheets will provide a lot of fun and shine in my life and my creations!

I used it on old porcelain reindeer that was slated for the thrift store. It looks like I spent a fortune and was so easy to do!

Material is larger in size when compared to Hobby Lobby's Metal Leaf. The price was much better and thickness of sheets. I like the sheet quality over all. Especially not having to worry if product is in stock when running out material. Shipment was fastest with Amazon than the brick and mortar Hobby Lobby.

Product is as presented and described, yes the sheets don't come off like some gold leaf packs do. That's normal. For those who don't know, you need to get the Gilding Adhesive AND the Sealer. Use the Gilding Adhesive on your project THEN place the LEAF SIDE of the sheet on the area you want to cover, based on shape, you might have to do that process multiple times to cover the empty spots if any. Wait for it to dry, until then, do not remove the pink/orange paper the leaf is on. Once it is dry, peel it of slowly, user a brush to pat down leaf pieces that are not fully applied and to give a it a better finish. Finally, use the SEALER to seal the leaf and protect it from oxidation. You can find the adhesive and sealer from the same brand. Just check their page/products. I hope this helps. Picture shows a trial on a wood stick, as you can see, the left side is fully covered while the other isn't, that's what happens if you don't wait long enough for it to dry or you are actually aiming for that effect.

This product works great (don’t judge by the quality of my newbie art). I followed the instructions and for a first time user, I’m really happy with it!

I've used real copper leaf before and comparing other products I've leaked in the past with these sheets I don't notice much of a difference apart from the better price! The sheets are super thin, like real leaf, and apply very easily over textured surfaces. The only tiny thing I noticed was that the odd sheet had a tiny bit of discoloration here and there. You get so many sheets that you can cover those spots and have tons to spare. Very happy with my purchase and I'm looking forward to finding more items to cover
