Helps significantly with my particular problem
I am extremely grateful for this product. I received it this morning, and have only used it once, but it very audibly adjusted the area of my back that has giving me problems for many years. I have a compressed spine between my shoulder blades. I own two inversion tables, and they do very little to relieve this discomfort. However, when I attached the harness around my chest, and let my body slowly drop, I had several of some of the most satisfying adjustments I've ever had. I've been to several chiropractors that couldn't get this particular adjustment, which, apparently, requires this unique catalyst. I'm just so grateful for this product, and I will be using it regularly. I can still feel discomfort in my back, but it's significantly less than it was. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what happens after regular use. Yes, it can be uncomfortable in the arm pits, and tightening the harness enough to prevent that makes it difficult to breathe, but the pads help, which likely makes it better than the ones without pads. Either way, it's obviously a trade-off (finding the least uncomfortable settings). In case I didn't mention it, I'm grateful.

Too big
Help. It slips up because I can't make it tight enough! I need a small instead of a medium.

Most likely will buy again when needed
This product is great overall. I have been using a product called, "Sit & Decompress" since 2017, until it ripped while using it earlier this week. I found this town as a replacement and immediately noticed that it send to have a more comfortable design to it I was quite concerned with many comment and reviews regarding the pain in the armpit area while using this device. However, I can easily say that this device is MUCH more comfortable and causes less pain in the armpit than my previous device did. I also place a hand towel folded over a few times in the armpit area and the result is no pain while using this device. Because if the weight being supported from under your arms you will still get the loss of some circulation in your hands and arms. Again, not nearly as bad as it was with the other device. I did reduce to 4 stars because the straps and connections on this device are not as sturdy as my previous device. Also, the loops for securing the unit above you seen to be right in the middle, so it concerns me that I cannot see them while using the device. This will of course vary based on how tall the location your are hanging this device from is from the ground, as will as your height. Overall, I believe this device will work just as good as my previous device which I was very satisfied with. It has also proven to be more comfortable. Note--If you believe that this device will support your entire body weight without sliding up, then I think you need to adjust your expectations. I do not see how this is possible. It is designed to slide up to the armpits and that is where the main support comes from. This is why there are pads in this area. Also, the material of my old device had more grip, and it would still slide up during use. Also, the added grip of the material would cause the edges to roll over at times causing even more pain. Because this item does not have the added grip, it will tend to slide up quicker. I don't see this as a negative as is allows the device to get into the best position quicker. I recommend this device, but have since concerns about the strength of the stitching and strap connectors for overhead hanging. But so far they are doing great I also really like the clips on the chest straps. Much easier than trying to thread the straps through D loops every time

Very effective.
I have to do traction every day so I bought this. I use it in the basement and made a bar that I screwed into one of the exposed floor joists overhead. I made the bar from some 3/4 pluming supplies (24" pipe, a pair of elbows, pair of nipples, and a pair of flanges, screwed into the joist with construction screws). It took a minute to figure out how to thread the straps and adjust them, but you really only have to do that once. But overall it does the job perfectly. I'm 185lbs and I have no worries about it supporting my weight. I find that it works better to keep my arms up (I hold the bar above me) and it's much more comfortable that way. I've been using it every day for the past 4 months.

USELESS and dangerous
This should get ZERO stars! Don't bother buying this. It is dangerous for your arms - cuts off blood supply. My PT told me NOT to use this! Wish I had not purchased it.

Nice sturdy harness
Harness is strong and well made. I bought 2 and am using them with my decompression table as the ones that came with it are junk. They are easy to put on and adjust. So far they are working great

Confusing setup
The straps for the armpits area are very complex to set up. They are difficult to adjust too. Once set up though, they work OK. The chest straps are much better but no matter how tight around your chest, they will slip. So by the time you get it right you need a stool to enter the set up because it settles and slips. Otherwise and your knees are on the floor. I suggest alternative areas for hanging location other than a door frame. Absolute ideal would be a remote hoist that can lift you from the ceiling level. Can't find one that does not require a higher than eight foot ceiling for optimal lift clearances..

Dont use it upside down
back stretcher; the add for this and most of the reviews have this pulling up to the neck.... This makes the belt wind up under the armpits. Seems backwards to me, I put the straps DOWN so it pulls on the hips, I can put a weight on the strap and do a pull up to target the lower back. Or attach the straps to a slant board and lay with head down so the whole back is stretched.

This is an excellent product for lower to mid/upper back traction. It has an excellent build quality and highly adjustable. But I can't see this being comfortable for women based on how it sits across the torso or chest depending on where you require traction. Also, this is highly versatile of you use it with a chair to help support you. Again, depending on where you require traction.

The harness is very useful if used wisely but the pad for the arm pit is not good it just gives you pain...so I would suggest to add more padding for the arm pit
