Very easy to use and made the cake very pretty.

I’m really happy with this cake topper set! I traditionally make the birthday cake’s for my family, and this one is my favorite so far. Here are a few tricks I found helpful that you may like to use yourselves… This cake was a chocolate layered cake with cream cheese frosting layers and cream cheese crumb coat. I usually make a chocolate cream cheese frosting for the exterior, but for this cake, I cheated a little and purchase the “whippy frosting” from my Fred Meyer bakery. Although thread works just fine, I used a “cake leveler” from Walmart to ensure even layers. I used #2D Tip Set to create the ruffled effect I was going for. I made sure to put down a “crumb coat” layer. I meant to freeze the cake layers before adding the crumb coat and assembling it, but I forgot. It didn’t seem to matter though. I just stuck the cake in the freezer overnight after applying the crumb coat. In the morning, I applied the whippy frosting and decorations. I stuck it in the fridge afterwards, and took it out a couple hours before the party. Although more time consuming than store-bought, It was a really fun and rewarding process, and the unicorn decorations are so cute!

This cake topper set is very cute and well made. The unicorns actually are made of ceramic and make a nice little keepsake. I wrote my daughter's birthday and year on the bottom of them and keep them on a shelf in her bedroom, she loves them. The whole set up all together made a beautiful birthday cake for not a lot of money.

Came with plenty of toppers that I was able to split up and use on two different cakes. Great packaging to prevent damages. I was also able to clean a few up and re-use it again. The colors are vibrant and pretty. The quality was pretty good. The unicorn horn on the smaller unicorn broke fairly easily so I’d probably hold off letting it be played with until after its use. I wanted something my kids can still play with well after the party and both unicorns (other than the small horn) have been holding up pretty well. Overall, I would order from this company again.
