I have a fabulous Gaggia Espresso maker and water quality is its greatest enemy! BWT is amazing! The water it creates protects my Gaggia and taste fabulous! No espresso lover should be without BWT filters and pitcher!

For some reason I like the taste of water from these filters over others I have tried. The benefit of Magnesium is a definite plus. The filters are a little more expensive than others but well worth it. They fit my pitcher.

I've used these filters for at least two years, and consider them essential. I'm a sipper of liquids, not a gulper--and I hate the taste of water, bottled or spigot. To me, drinking a glass of water was as distasteful as drinking a glass of cooking oil. I was almost constantly dehydrated. Then I found these filters. I just wanted to kill the taste of chemicals in the water—but from the first sip, I discovered I loved the taste! It must be the magnesium? All I really know is that I drink when I'm thirsty; I use it for coffee,. Iced tea or lemonade. I keep the pitcher in the refridge and use filtered water for ice cubes,. I'd hate to go back to unfiltered water.

Tasty and good quality.

These are great but the first box I got had a lot of the filter dust (don't know what to call that) that had spilled onto the outer part of the filter, sometimes leaving little stains I couldn't get off. I actually ended up throwing a couple away that were really bad but I think it may have been because the box looked a little banged up from shipping. I'll only take off one star since I was able to wash most of them enough to use them and once I started filtering the water they worked great. I'm not a fan of the taste for drinking water but it works perfectly for my espresso machine reservoir (I got these specifically to filter my espresso water). I'm hoping the next box I start using will have a little less dust to wash off.

Pretty good deal when you get quite a bit in this little pack, I like the magnesium I like how easy they are to replace

And these make the water taste so much better than Brita. I can't verify if it adds magnesium or not, maybe that's how it makes the water taste better. Living in a 90 year old building in LA you don't want straight tap water! I used Brita for years, but tried these out of curiosity and have never gone back. The water tastes much better, I like that the filters are for 2 months, so a six pack lasts a year, and that means I spend about $4 a month for decent water filtration.

Die BWT Wasserfilterkartuschen „Magnesium Mineralized Water“ nutze ich nun seit einiger Zeit im Alltag und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität des gefilterten Wassers. Der Geschmack ist deutlich weicher als direkt aus der Leitung und durch das zusätzliche Magnesium wirkt das Wasser für mich frischer und „runder“. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass Kalk im Wasser merklich reduziert wird, wodurch sich weniger Ablagerungen in Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine bilden. Das schont die Geräte und man muss sie seltener entkalken. Eine Kartusche hält bei normalem Gebrauch zuverlässig mehrere Wochen durch, ohne dass der Geschmack nachlässt. Die Handhabung ist einfach: Kartusche kurz wässern, einsetzen und nach wenigen Filtrationen ist das Wasser klar und angenehm zu trinken. Praktisch ist auch der 6er-Vorratspack, sodass man immer rechtzeitig Ersatz zu Hause hat und nicht ständig nachbestellen muss. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Produkt für alle, die Leitungswasser aufwerten und gleichzeitig ihre Haushaltsgeräte vor Kalk schützen möchten. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
