Bought these to help my 3-4’s develop a stronger tripod grasp. They tend to fist the fat cylinder shaped ones. Also, the larger ones tend to send out too much ink to quickly. These have to be primed first time some of the older children were able to work the color down themselves. They leave less color so the children have to work a little harder to use them. The class seemed to enjoy using them and asked for them again.

My almost 2 year old uses these with ease! Highly recommend for little ones.

These little markers are great for young hands. I definitely recommend for crafts and helping with motor skills. They are not less free though. They make far more mess than crayons and maybe even regular markers. All you have to do is push on the tip, which kids are prone to do, and lots of ink will come out. This can be good for projects but also allows for lots of body painting and wet ink everywhere. It does wash easily off the floor and takes a little more to get off hands depending on how much is on there. You do have to prime them to get the right amount of ink out but it teaches children about applying different amounts of pressure.

Changed the tip to a sponge tip. Removed the liquid and added bingo dauber ink. They are GREAT for bingo. Other bingo players can't believe how easy and comfortable they are.
