It’s a great price on good glue.
The container is easy to store and even pour, and it’s nice to be able to get a greater quantity. Titebond I is an excellent glue and is what I use for almost all of my woodworking and electric guitar making (outside of hide glue on reversible joints). It is strong, easy to clean up with water, doesn’t creep over time, and has an acceptable open time. I wouldn’t use it where you are dealing with a lot of moisture, go with the more water resistant Titebond II for that, but it remains less hard through it’s life, so there are trade offs. I go with the original more often than not.

Great glue for wood hobbies
Goes on brown dries clear. Holds excellent. And is thin enough to paint on with a little paint brush. Dries pretty quick. And the bottle cap has a nice tip perfect for glueing corners

The Glue You Grab When You Want It Done Right
This is one of those products that’s been around forever for a reason. If you’ve ever done any woodworking, furniture repair, or small home fixes, this glue just works—no drama. It has a quick initial tack, so pieces don’t slide around, but you still get enough working time to line things up properly before clamping. The thickness is actually one of its biggest advantages. It’s not watery and runny, but also not so thick that it’s hard to spread. It stays where you put it, fills small gaps nicely, and gives you an even glue line without dripping everywhere. That makes clamping cleaner and more predictable, especially on joints that need precise alignment. Technically, it’s a PVA wood glue that bonds stronger than the wood itself once fully cured. I’ve used it for wood-to-wood joints and furniture repairs, and the joint always ends up rock solid. Important part though: don’t rush it. You really want to use clamps and leave it clamped for at least 24 hours. It sets fast, but the real strength comes after a full day. Clamp it and walk away. Once dry, it sands cleanly without clogging sandpaper, which is a big plus. Cleanup is easy too—wipe any squeeze-out with a damp cloth while it’s still wet. It doesn’t foam, doesn’t expand, and doesn’t mess with finishes as long as you clean excess glue properly. Just keep in mind this is meant for interior use, not outdoor or moisture-heavy jobs. For the size and price, it’s solid value for money. No gimmicks, no surprises—just a reliable, professional-grade wood glue with the right thickness, strong hold, and predictable results, as long as you clamp it and give it the time it needs.
