Kryptonite Lower Ball Joint KR0232 Compatible with 2011-2020 Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD

Already had a kryptonite lower ball joint installed, like many others the boot is torn in half in less than 1 year. Bought this one off amazon for a replacement, was planning on just swapping the boot because the joint itself is still good. Welp, this one arrived all dinged and scratched up and the bag is torn to shreds and surprise surprise…the boot has about 5 cuts in it. Thanks Amazon.

The boots were damaged in the first order and the second order. It is in a plastic bag. Not covered by any absorber material. These boots are not strong against impact by handling and shipping pinching with metal housing. Recommend checking boots damage before working on if you try those.

Replaced both lower ball joints less than year and both have torn boots and need to be replaced. Warranty is great for sending new parts. Just need them to cover labor fees for constantly having truck in shop for these heavy duty performance parts to keep failing.

The boots for these ball joints are terrible. They tore within a few miles. Grease leaked out. Took a loss on them and bought a different brand.

Buy these if you enjoy replacing your lowers every 6-12 months. Less than a year and both boots are torn. Passenger side looks like it’s torn to shreds. Unreal.
