Working great!

The product works fine itself, but didn't work with my Lenovo T430 laptop. The computer cannot detect the external GPU with the product. I cannot disable built in display in BIOS by following the instruction. Probably the product is better for experienced computer technician, but not good for general computer users.

Wow. Turned an older Dell Precision laptop into a "player two" gaming computer. I did have to get some other software for it to work properly, but well worth it. Who would think a $50 part and a power supply would get an external video card to work.

This is awesome, now i just need to 3d print a custom gpu enclosure

Purchased this under the assumption that it supports thunderbolt, as that is listed in the description and in the product photos. It does not, and this product is just resold chineese garbage. Instruction manual is in chineese and is no help, and also claims that you can use thunderbolt (you cannot). Also if you look around amazon you'll see many other sellers selling the exact same product for vastly different prices, essentially proving its just chineese garbage. Will be reporting this product.

It's good for older PC's (the mini pcie version)

Set up on a Lenovo idea centre. Beware. Couldn't bypass on board graphics, But connected to 55 inch tv and works. Happy purchase

- First the description was very confusing, don't know why the seller has all the different cable options in one listing, it makes it really hard to figure out which cable you are getting. I ended up getting the mini PCI-E version, only to discover that it was not the correct cable for my computer, then I got in touch with the seller and they offered me a bit of discount to buy the correct cable which was still expensive like the device with the other cable was 72 CAD and the new cable alone was 40. Anyway, I ordered and it took a whole month to get here (Canada) only for me to discover that it is not working with my Asus RX 580 , it is doing ok with a very old 2010 Ndivia GE Force card, now I am not sure if it is a compatibility issue or a problem with my GPU, but my overall experience of this is mediocre at best. Would be good if the seller has separate listings for each cable type with the device and somehow have a list of compatible GPUs that work with this device

Says thunderbolt connectivity is supported but it doesn't come with a thunderbolt cable or a thunderbolt port on the dock. How do I connect this dock to my thunderbolt port on my laptop? Product description lacking.
