Update: received a replacement from the manufacturer. Thanks! I opened it and found the seal is incomplete. It has passed a month of returning time, so I could only contacted Jarrow for a replacement. Still waiting for their reply.

I really like this product and feel that it has made a noticeable difference in my vision. I will continue to purchase this product in the future. I combine this product with another product that I purchased on Amazon that contains more Lutein (25 mg) and Zeaxanthin Isomers (5 mg) per capsule but nothing else. The Jarrow Vision Optimizer also contains Lutein and Zeaxanthin at a lower dose but it contains a much wider array of other ingredients that are, in my opinion, important for vision. The Jarrow Vision Optimizer contains Quercetin (300 mg) which seems to be another important ingredient for eye health. The product works for me so I'm quite happy. In addition to taking Vision Optimizer I would recommend having your vision tested on an annual basis by a qualified optometrist. I am not an optometrist or physician so I can only give an opinion about how the product works for me.

Everytime I take these pills, I get the worst acid indigestion. If I stop taking it for a while, the symptoms go away. If I take them again, the symptoms come back. I would not recommend this rather expensive product to anyone with GERD or indigestion issues. I don't know how I can return these things, since I've taken some already. The symptoms are as if I just ate 3 pepperoni pizzas with spicy chili dogs as dessert. I have no idea what is in them to cause such pain.

I was diagnosed with an eye issue that the retinal specialists told me would rob me of my useful vision in about 2 years. I am 5 years post diagnosis and am still driving and reading and doing all the things I want to. In November 2014, it will be 6 years. I have huge floaters (that's part of my diagnosis), but otherwise, business as usual. I love this stuff. I started by taking the 3 capsules not once, but twice a day. Up to that point I had been able to notice different losses to my vision daily. After a month, I took the 3 capsules daily. I have been faithful with this product and it seems to have slowed the progressive losses significantly.
