Good for herbal tea
I use this to make herbal tea. It seems fresh and is strong depending on how you brew it. Great quality and volume for cost

Delish! Great quality!
I drink hibiscus tea for the great taste and to stay hydrated, along with the health benefits. This product is great quality, no need to sift through the flowers to look for stones or other materials. I make 1 gallon and drink throughout the week. This could easily replace kid’s kool aid or fruit punch type of drinks, with a natural red color and a great flavor without too much sugar per serving. And a fun science trick, add a little squeeze of lime or lemon juice, or better yet pineapple juice, and the tea turns from red to a purple/blue! The bag doesn’t have instructions for brewing. I use 1 cup of flowers for one gallon of tea. I boil 2 liters/quarts of water and pour that over the dried flowers in a juice pitcher. I let it steep for a while as I like my tea strong. Then add 1 cup or so of sugar, honey, or agave syrup for a sweetener to a gallon jug. Then strain the tea as I pour the warm tea into the gallon. Seal the lid, give it a gentle shake to dissolve the sweetener, carefully remove the lid (steam can build up pressure) then top it off with cold water.

Great hibiscus for tea
Great for making jamaica - I use about a half cup of this, 6 TBLSP of sugar, and about 1.5l of boiling water. This brand used to come as "big leaves" where as now it seems come "chopped" (I'm sure it's for packaging - the weight is the same but the package is 1/2 the volume of the old style) - it's altered the flavor (the old-style was a bit more "delicate") but it's still good hibiscus. But I would love to see it go back to the "whole leaf" form.

Great quality
Big pieces and fresh leaves. Vibrant flavor and good quality. Price is comparable to other brands. There’s no instructions on the package so trial and error to suit your taste.

Excellent Product, but Packaging could use some work
I have purchased this product many times this year and each time the Hibiscus Tea is excellent! For use in a small tea pot or ball the Cut-n-Sifted version of Hibiscus Tea is hard to beat. I gave the product 5-stars across the board, but I do have an issue with the packaging. The first few times I purchased this product it was packaged in a foil lined craft paper bag (as is most Herbal Tea on Amazon). It's not a particularly pretty bag, but 5/5 for functionality. My last 3 or 4 orders have come packaged in a significantly more attractive foil lined multi layered poly bag. This bag is prettier and is sufficiently sealed to deliver a fresh product to my door. The issue is in the internal zip-lock feature. so far, 100% of the new bags have exhibited defective zip-lock closures. The zip-lock closure is not sufficiently attached to the inside of the bag such that the bags are not resealable. I have been reusing the old (still functional) craft paper bags. The most recent failed packaging bears the lot code 1789-1900 (best by April 2025). I have attached photos showing Old vs. New Packaging, the failed packaging, as well as a shot of the product. I sincerely hope that the company can sort out this packaging issue before the old craft paper bag fails. It would make me sad to have to find another supplier or purchase an airtight container on amazon to keep the tea fresh.

Great for tacos and enchiladas and tea!
Such a multipurpose food! I take about a cup of the leaves and rinse until the water runs clear. Then add with 2-3 cups of water in a pan. Bring to a boil, and then simmer on low until I remember about them again ... maybe an hour? I pour the liquid into a separate container if I want to make tea. I strain the leaves and rinse and rinse and rinse until the water is clear again. The leaves are now ready to use. They have a great texture for "meat" - add taco seasoning for tacos or enchiladas, or bbq sauce for a "pulled pork" style sandwich. To make tea, the liquid is super concentrated, so mix with water or juice or iced tea until the desired flavor is achieved - add sweetener of your choice, if desired. Great value! Great product!
