needs adult supervision for 2/3 yr olds
As the grandma I set it up first so that I could answer questions. kids loved setting it up and following directions for themselves once they had run a couple of circuits. this was interesting for my granddaughters as there is such a dearth of good stem toys for girls. I bought 2 more for all the sets of grandchildren.

Bought this set for my 6 year old nephew and he loved it! Kept him entertained. Easy for him to learn and do on his own.

Wish it included an explanation of basic circuitry
I bought this a year ago bet set it aside until this year because I felt my grandson was not ready for it. I just took it out and walked through several of the projects - all of which were nicely diagrammed, step-by-step - and which worked. I WISH that in addition to the step-by-step guides that the kit includes an explanation of basic circuitry. I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 for that reason.

6 year old grandson LOVED it!
Christmas gift for our 6 year old grandson. He was thrilled when he opened the box and immediately began working with it. Easy directions with pictures, and he’s good with that. Soon he had lights lighting, propellers spinning…so much fun! The little projects progressed in difficulty and added on with complexity. Not sure the batteries can support the drain for the add-ons, but time will tell with that concern, plus he had to set it aside to open other presents. 😊

Educational and fun Snap circuit project
This is amazing basic snap circuit project Our non -verbal 9 year old special lad has been enjoying it especially the colorful fan. He can operate it himself. We love it and definitely get the next step/box.

This product is even better than I expected. The kids (ages 8 and 6) love playing with it for long periods of time. The 8 year old can read the instructions and the 6 year old can too (with a tiny bit of help). I do recommend the product as it is educational and fun!!!

My 7 yr old was gifted one and I got another for a friend. Such good fun, easy to use and educational. My son adores this and will spend hours on it.
