Saint St Francis of Assisi 1 Inch H Silver Tone Pet Medal

While not as big as I would like (I knew this from the item description, but chose this item anyway), it is quality, and that is what I was looking for. I have this on my dog's collar. Given she has a knack for getting into trouble, she needs all the help she can get. It is a solid metal, and the imprints and inscriptions are clear. It really is a pretty piece and a nice addition to a collar. The only drawback is the wire loop for attaching it. It is so flimsy, it fell off just taking the medal out of the packaging. Have a better wire loop on hand for attaching it. A shout out to the seller. I had a problem with the shipper, and the item was replaced immediately. A responsive seller that stands by all parts of the transaction needs to be recognized!

I liked this medal very much. The only thing I didn't like was the ring used to attach the medal to my dog's collar. It is thin and weak. She would have pulled the medal off. I had to find a sturdier one. Other than that, I am pleased. St. Francis, please protect my pup.

The reviews I read were unclear about what exactly was on this medal. The one I purchased has St Francis on one side and God Bless My Pet on the other. The medal seems nice and lite but sturdy. It was a tiny bit smaller than I expected so if you have a small pet this will still work. I purchased it for our Great Dane and as a matter of personal taste decided to order another larger medal for her. My daughter’s adult cat ended up with this on her collar and it’s a nice size for her. For reference this tag is slightly larger than a standard sized cat ID tag but perhaps smaller than a rabies tag. The type of metal used is very lightweight so the cat doesn’t notice. She is lazy and never outside so I’d say this tag will last her forever. For a larger animal that is more active than a kitchen sponge I’d probably purchase something else. Overall, this meets our needs.

I bought this for my dog to wear on her collar. She's a wild child and at times needs divine protection!

I purchased this medal 1 year ago in 2013 for my Sophie and she is still wearing it on her collar today. I bought 2 because of some of the reviews but didn't need the second one yet. I did put the medal on a different ring to attach to her collar. It has just started to look worn and I think I will change it out for the second one I purchased. But I am going to purchase 2 more to give as gifts. Thank you for having such a beautiful medal available for my little dog and for me to give as a gift. If you're concerned about buying this medal don't be.......just make sure you put it on a different ring to attach to your dog's collar.

Smaller than expected, quality decent for cost.
