Dorman 76824 GM Radio Buttons Compatible with Select Models

Wow, what a difference. My dashboard looks new again . The Amazon fitment wizard said it wouldn't fit my car, but after looking at the photos, it was exactly what I needed Not difficult to install, just take tour time and don't force anything. Photo is my old radio buttons.

Wow, very impressed with the new knob set for my 2003 GMC Sierra z71 Fit perfect, just be careful and try not to be in a hurry. A good idea would be that after removing the large trim piece, before removing the radio, place a cloth under the radio and let it cover over the climate control panel face plate, as pulling out the radio and trying to hold the radio and unplug the radio harness and antenna the back corners of the radio could scratch the front of the climate control. Ask me how i know this. I know from experience this could happen. Now i'm searching for a climate control face plate to replaced my scratched up one. Hope this review helps someone.

Buttons themselves seem nice like OEM quality. However, the light that shines through is slightly more green so if you are going to replace one button you may as well swap them all out or you will see a slight difference. Also, I had to remove two stars because my package contained duplicates of a button (Load CD) and was missing the button I needed the most (Band CD AUX). Hopefully the exchange is correct as I see another reviewer had the same exact issue. Edit - Exchange had the correct buttons so I increased the rating to 4 stars. The buttons worked perfectly for a 2004 Z71 Chevy Tahoe. Amazon and Dorman's site said they weren't compatible with my vehicle but it really depends on the radio you have more than the vehicle. These work for the 6 disc radio. I added a before and a couple after photos. You can kind of see the light color difference. It really isn't super noticeable but if you compare it to the heat/AC controls you can kind of tell. You would have to point it out for someone to notice or care though.

I changed all the bottoms on my SSR and it now looks like a brand new radio. When you take the volume and tuning buttons out make sure to transfer over the white rubber cups at the bottom.

Wonderful product. Perfect fit for my 2003 Yukon SLT 4wd. One note of caution though. Be prepared to change all the buttons. These new buttons illuminate in a slightly different shade of green. It is really only noticeable if you change just the knobs. If all parts are changed its not really noticeable.

The volume grip knob that is hollow is larger than the hollow tuning knob on the factory radio. The Dorman kit came with two tuning knobs. There was no way to assemble the volume center piece. I had to reuse the old hollow volume knob. Yes, the rest of the kit seemed to function properly. I don't know maybe I should have given this a three star rating, for $30 I expected more.

I bought this set to replace the worn buttons and knobs on my stock radio in my Trailblazer SS. All the buttons were correct except that the tune knob labeling was printed at an angle making it crooked when installed. I exchanged the set twice and they all sets had the same crooked tune knob

J'avoue que j'avais pas de grandes attentes pour les boutons. mais c'est un excellent produit! J'ai fait le changement moi même avec délicatesse et patience et je l'ai fait avec un résultat parfait. NB changer tout les boutons parce-que la couleur n'est pas la même de l'original. Et ne changer que les capuchons du Power et l'autre aussi (très facile).*canyon sle 2005 3.5l.

Worked good on 2003 Envoy SLT with Bose head unit. Had a nice refreshed look now. I required a precision socket for head unit face screws x4, they are like a 1.5mm, vice grips saved the day. A precision socket set would have been quicker though.
