I have been using Semco teak sealer for decades. This teak sealer goes right on and protects against many types of stains (although not all). I use it twice a year on my teak tables that are sitting outside and they pretty much look new after 3 years. An improvement would be to make it work better for all types of stains - especially dinner type stains.

Buyer Beware of the Gallon size.
I have used this product and it is great. Buyer Beware. I bought the gallon size to save money yet the "gallon" can reads 122 ounces. They intentionally short you 6 ounces.

Revived decades-old teak
I got an old, weathered Kingsley-Bates teak set and it needed a ton of work. I probably devoted 40 hours of labor to restoring this table and 6 chairs, and I wasn't going to trust it to just any old product. I scrubbed. I sanded. I used 2 coats of this sealant! The teak looks gorgeous and I'm so glad to know that it's protected and will be able to serve my family for years to come.

Works great
Easy to apply but prefer using disposable brush instead of their recommended foam brush. Color and sealing properties hold up in S. Cal sun for most of a year. Very happy with the product.

Great product
This product did exactly what they said. Easy to apply after having used the two part stripper. Two coats on our 45’ boat took under two quarts. Picture shows before and after comparison.

Once arrived and I could open: Worked great!!!
While I understand the need for a special lock on the can so it doesn't spill during shipping, directions on how to remove it would have been really GREAT. Had to get a handyman to help me remove the lock!! I was sealing teak furniture and this is what the place where I purchased recommended for a sealant. Was confused on how the item was being shipped. Had to contact Amazon to help. Dates were confusing and it looked like is was arriving on UPS but came via USPS.
