It is rather large, a bit clunky looking and weighty but it is extremely sharp and makes timing finger and toe nails quick work, even thick nails are not a problem for these nail clippers. I highly recommend them, esp helpful if you have vision issues or arthritis in your hands. I was trying to purchase another clipper made by this company that was unavailable, bought these instead and love them. One of the best small quality of life purchases I've ever made, well worth the price.

I will start with that I hate that I have to cut my nails. It seems like evolutionarily speaking, this is a big miss. Fingernails and toenails are kind of gross, especially after they’ve been detached, cut, or clipped from your body. Nobody wants to find clippings anywhere whether they are yours or someone else’s. And that is why these are magic. They capture the dead keratin slivers perfectly so you can dispose of them properly, not on the nightstand, not in a neat little pile on the sink, but in a biohazard bag sent to an incinerator. That is extreme but you get my drift. These do a great job of cutting because they are precision tools, perfectly sharp. Your nails will thank you, and your partner will thank you because there wont be any more stray nail clippings lost between the sheets. I bought them as stocking stuffers this year for my entire family, gifted them to the neighbors, and the mailman. I hand them out at public libraries.
