Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) Fresh Premium (8) Stalks

I order the same product from another vendor compared to this vendor, well there is no comparison. These plants arrived timely and healthily. I soaked the plants for two days before planting. Once planted these are doing 4 times better and already producing lemongrass. I thought there was lawn grass growing among the plants and it was the lemongrass. Great product, producing better than excepted.

Orders twice from this seller. 100% good quality lemongrass ready to be planted. All did very well in Florida Sandy & mix soil with good drainage, added planting soil & almost full sun.

These came nicely packaged w/the perfect moisture content to maintain life. It was a few days before we could get an area prepped to put them in the ground. During those few days, I added a bit of well water to the package so they wouldn't dry out, & put them where they'd get light. By the weekend when we planted them, they had all grown roots up to an inch long. Just a couple weeks after planting them, a Derecho knocked several trees down onto our garden, right where they were planted. I thought for sure we'd lose them, however, once the trees & brush were cleared, they've recovered beautifully. Instructions were included for over-wintering. I plan to transplant one or two to pots for winter, then 'over-winter' the rest. I look forward to my own fresh supply of lemongrass, rather than having to search out a good source each time I need more.

Absolutely excellent! They arrived a day early (which I didn't realize, so the poor things sat in a cardboard box a day longer than they had to). They were about .5" to 1" thick, and literally within a *day* had new growth coming out. Even straight out of the box they looked exceptionally good, considering they'd been in a box for at least a week! They shipped in some damp wood chips to keep them fresh, in a bag. Absolutely excellent. I highly recommend this seller!

Product arrived very quickly and in good condition. All 8 of my plant pieces have taken and grown since planting. Only one looks a bit stressed still. 7/8 with a chance for 8/8 isn’t bad at all. Overall, everything is great! My only knock on this product is the price. It is a bit high IMO considering lemon grass grows like a weed and can usually be purchased for 2 to 3 dollars at nurseries, but I needed the plants so that’s how it goes.

I bought these they were infested with ants. Plant them and nothing grew. It’s not worth sending back for a refund because I have to pay for the shipping. I have to spend more money and time going to the post office. I threw them away.

What arrived from our order was not what was expected, but I guess I really didn’t know what to expect. What we enjoy on our deck far exceeds that we thought would happen. Love these Lemmon grass plants. I hope we can winter these in our basement for next year. If they don’t winter well, we’ll reorder in a heartbeat. 👍❤️
