It doesn't work
Out of over a week of using it only one bug stuck to it. Didn't like. And unfortunately I had awful lot of flying bugs at the time and it didn't get rid of them.

It causes problems
I thought I had a good deal buying these, but I had to discard them prematurely. The pheromones did work, but to my dismay they only attracted many more flies to the home. In the end there were flies coming in from nowhere, but they refused to go near the fly trap. I had to quickly throw away the fly traps, turn off all the lights and open the doors and windows. Even then they still would not leave because the pheromone smell was still in the home. I had to chase the flies with an insect spray and then disinfect everything afterwards. This product caused more problems for me than it did me good. Gross. Sorry.

Best fly catcher out there
Shhhhhh don't let word spread too much, these are already getting harder to find..but...these are hands down the best fly catchers around. I havd tried a handful of others but none of those really work, these are awesome. They catch flys, gnats, fruit flies, even the occassional moth!. You can keep it in the box and hang the box or set it on a shelf or window sill or you can pull it out of the box. I keep mine in the box and set it in a window sill and when the top gets full or dusty, i spin it a little so a new side is up. Used these during a bad year where lots of flies were getting in then couldn't find them for a year or 2 that's when I tried several others, so glad to have found them again. Our neighbor has horses, so we get fun biting flies inside....

They work ok at a low high.
We have had these for two days now, and the flies just fly around it. It’s like they are mocking us! Don’t waste your money on this item. After placing these at at a lower level, they did ok. The instructions didn’t mention that.

Seems overpriced
Does it catch flies? Yes, certainly. But does it catch more flies (faster) than a conventional 75 cent fly strip? Not really. Seems kind of overpriced, considering the cost of other solutions. If you do buy them, use latex gloves when removing them from the package. Or have some baby oil on hand. Because they're not individually covered, the glue gets inside the box and you may have a mess when you reach inside to get the bait packet.

An excellent low-tech solution!!!
This product really works!! We have a little bit of a fly issue because the next-door neighbors don’t pick up their dog poop. So we have one of these near our back door, and one of these at our front door; and they take care of the problem! Make sure you use the fly bait, which is in a small packet stuck to the inside of the top lid. They don’t spell that out in the directions. The flies love that fly bait, and once they stick on that gold tube, they’re stuck forever!

These work great!
I've been using these for a number of years. I hang them at the back door and the one hanging out there at this time is so full of crane flies that you cannot see that it is yellow. I have found flies, crane flies, wasps and mosquitoes on them. Bees either don't hang around the Aphrodite Hosta whose pot a short shepherd's crook is standing in for them to hang from or they are smarter than other insects. I hang them with a twistee and it works great. The 1st year I got my hair caught in one but treated it like you do with gum in your hair and everything was fine. I keep reordering these because they work and work great! Would not want to face a TX summer without them.

No longer a draw for flies
These use to come with a granular packet that you sprinkled over the trap and now they don't come with the bait. Definitely not effective anymore. Why would they stop providing the granular bait? They use to be the best ones I used but not anymore.
