Peppersmith Strawberry Dental Mints 12x15g

Delicious.

Both my girls love these and ask for them after eating. It means a little peace of mind to know that the xylitol content is helping to counteract the plaque acid production, especially since dentists recommend no snacking between meals (try telling a child that one)! The packs seem quite small but each contains a good amount of little disc shaped solid sweets. The sweets are hard but really soluble on the tongue and if left in the mouth without crunching, last a couple of minutes or so. Long enough to allow the xylitol good tooth contact. The strawberry flavour is almost a strawberry milkshake type flavour and we all think there's the very slightest minty hint in there. As neither of my children like mints, it obviously isn't enough to put them off eating these! The mint option wasn't any good for my children as they wouldn't have touched them so I'm pleased to find an alternative. Overall I think these are a good buy and very tooth kind when you look into the xylitol benefits.

Very impressed with these “sweets”. Purchased them after some research into xylitol and benefits to remineralise teeth. I have 3 young children and although they brush their teeth I wanted something more to boost their oral health. Myself and my kids love the taste and the request them after meals. They are pricey but if they do what they claim then they will have been worth it.

These tiny little hard sweets are not the chewy pastilles as the name suggests. They are so small and they are gone in a flash. What are they for? Useless for mouth conditions that ‘pastilles’ are recommended for but not these tiny hard mini things. Weird and so overpriced. I now discover they are dangerous for pets so discard extremely carefully.

These are my alternatives to smints. These are vegetarian and halal. Don't eat on an empty stomach. They are more expensive then the smints but the smints have bugs in them which is not vegetarian or halal. The quality is decent but the box did open in my bag. I like how this doesn't contain much sugar but tastes decent. Does not taste how you expect and doesn't taste as strongly of strawberry as you expect. The size is decent. Remember that you should eat these after eating food.

These taste great in moderation. I love that they are sugar free and the smooth outer texture means that it's not rough on the tongue when the outer layer melts away. I would definitely recommend. The only downside is that they are on the expensive side.
