How long does it keep ice cubes before they start to melt?

For me it works great, I put some large cubes on bottom and top it off with ice out of the ice maker. As long as the lid is on you can get 6 to 10 hours out of one full bucket, with lid off 3-4 hours.

Can this be used to keep ice cream cold ?

Missing parts

We got this for our grandson last spring and he loves it keeps ice cold for a long time so we bought one and just opened the box the lid top knob was off and found the screw on bottom of box so put it together but the Tongs are missing.The bucket is great but missing parts are bad quality control.

Works like a charm

Really keeps ice chilled.

I’m updating an old review. This did have scratches, couple small dents so as a gift it didn’t seem like a good purchase. BUT functionally this is the best ice bucket I’ve owned. It keeps ice cold. There has been fragments of ice in the morning from the prior night. This ice bucket does a good job.

Works like a Stanley

I was not expecting much. Just needed something cute and little for my outdoor bar top. I accidentally left this thing out all night (not in direct sunlight) and still found ice the next day around the same time!!!! The lid has a tight seal and we keep the tongs on the side of the bucket. This thing is perfect! I’m so glad to see it was affordable as well. Worth it

Held ice in 80 degree shady area for over 7 hours and probably longer but someone else dumped it before I could check. Great for outdoor bar setup.

Doesn’t keep ice that cold. It’s a good size and looks nice but the handle fell off after first use.
