This is one of the best books I have ever bought. Recipes are super delicious and very easy to make. Very helpful if you’re a beginner like me. Cones with detailed instructions, particularly helpful if you’re still learning

The cookbook has beautiful photos and fabulous recipes. The only downside is the recipes don’t provide measurements in grams. Scaling is so much easier than using measuring cups!

The recipes are creative and pretty and instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I’m a home baker and the five chapters of this book contains a wealth of knowledge valuable for someone who has never baked a cake. Each recipe is nicely written and the steps are easy to follow. I’d say that my favourite part of following each recipe is the use of measuring cups and as avid fan of citrus cakes ; the double orange Bundt cake( page 119) was a hit for a friends gathering held at the upper east side. This compendium of cake recipes has a very special place in my Martha Stewart bookshelf.

So I'm a chocolate cake fanatic and I often go on cookbook binges, I purchased 7 baking books over the last month and I've been trying the chocolate cake recipes. I've probably made 12 chocolate cakes in the last month. Most of which were ordinary and I appreciated the depth of flavor and complexity of those in the Rose Beranbaum books. But the Mile High Chocolate Cake on page 98 of the Martha Stewart book was chocolate cake perfection. It was fudgy, tender and chocolaty, just how I love it. I did the cake only and passed on the caramel frosting. At the same time I also did the Red Velvet Pound Cake as my son loves red velvet cake, when he tasted it, you should have seen the look on his face. Then I tasted it, it was absolutely delicious. So yes, cake perfection indeed.

amazing books with lip-smacking cake recipes and photos . the last section is dedicated to some tips and also necessary recipes of frostings, sauces, garnishes etc. recommended!
