This arrived on time and was very easy to set up. I used it for the first time at a Christmas Market and it worked very well. People expect to be able to pay by card these days and some of the other traders lost customers as they could only take cash. With the IZettle 2 we were able to do both and this was an advantage. The mark 2 is able to give email receipts and I set it up with our main products with prices so I had a record of what we had sold. you can of course just put in the price on your linked phone also. It is more expensive than I expected but does do more than the other basic card readers.

Ideal for all us little people who need to take a card payment every now and then without any fuss and minimal fees. Very easy to use, even for old technophobes like me. It takes seconds to use - and that's coming from someone who's the wrong side of 60. You can select whichever bank you want your payments to go to and how often you want notifications of payments, then go online and save or print your statements. Also, the transfer time is much faster than many other methods that are available. Brilliant

A good product but the buttons get clogged and stickey when I use it behind a bar. Easy to set up.

Didn’t use it and went to use for the first time and it is faulty. The machine has a error and it also can’t connect. I’ve tried to return and Amazon won’t give me the option too. Complete waste of money

For a new user it’s very straightforward and easy to use. I’d used a Zettle reader before, as a “staff member” on a different account . Although the account holder removed “me” I found I had to create a new email address to set up my own Zettle account as couldn’t find a way of removing the name of the friends account on my own reader because I had used my original email address on the friends account. There don’t seem to be any instructions on how to get round this issue. With a new email address to link to, my new Zettle reader works perfectly.

I have been on Zettle since it was iZettle, before Paypal bought it. My first machine worked for four years, and then one day a message flashed up, "Reader Damaged" with a unhappy face, and that was that. I contacted Zettle, and they sent me a replacement for £29. This was February 2023. Between then and now I have very little used it as I use their app on my phone for most sales now. Last Saturday, 16 November 2024 I went to use it and found the same thing had happened to this one, "Reader Damaged" and an unhappy face. It is always kept in its original box, and as I say been very little used, so this was annoying to say the least. I rang them this morning to organise a replacement, and they now want £70 for a replacement including postage. I also have a Sumup, and I will be using this from now on for all payments that don't work on the zettle app. The Zettle machine is not worth the money.

This hand held card reader is also contactless and can be used to read phone payments too. It is extremely well made and well designed. I would recommend this to anyone.
