I’ve gone through a lot of cheaper instrument cables over the years and most of them fail pretty quickly. This one has been much more durable so far and has held up well with regular use. The 10-foot length is perfect for my setup and gives enough room to move around without being excessive. The braided covering feels sturdy and well made, and the cable has a nice balance of flexibility without feeling flimsy. It coils easily and doesn’t seem to kink like some cheaper cables. It also looks great, especially paired with my Yamaha THRII-30 amp. Solid cable, good price, and it’s been much more reliable than the budget options I’ve tried before

If you have the money for Mogami go for it but you're not going to get any really noticeable increase in sound quality. These Fender cables are my go-to for several reasons. I use these as studio cables for recording but they'd be great for live applications too. The tweed outer jacket kind of holds a memory of its shape if you keep it wrapped or coiled between uses which is great to get it out of the way. It's also a really solid cable in that it can take a beating. Mine gets walked on by myself (accidentally), my wife, my daughter, and pets and they hold up great. The ends can come undone and you can do your own maintenance on them if you ever happen to need to. The build quality on these is so good that they'll last years before needing a new one. I only got this one because I needed a right angle plug on one end for guitars like the Jazzmaster that have an input on the front of the guitar that needs to be out of the way of the tremolo arm. The sound quality is as good as you're going to get. I mentioned before that you can get Mogami cable or some obscenely expensive cable but you're playing a game of diminishing returns there. The difference between this cable and one that's over twice as expensive is so minimal that you're not going to notice it in a mix and you're really going to be straining to hear the difference in the high end on its own. The jacks are gold plated so the connections are solid and reliable. The cable is sturdy but not overly thick. The ten footers are great for plugging straight into an amp or going from guitar to pedal board and the three footers are wonderful for going from pedal board output to amp input. Great cables, right price, I'll never use anything else.

This is a nice, sturdy feeling cable that does the job for an electric guitar. I like the combination of the angled connection at one end and the straight connection at the other end. I also feel confidence with the Fender label being on this item.

I've played musical instruments since middle school. I played a Fender bass in high school. I've always been able to rely on Fender products and this cord is no different. I get rich full sound through my Peavy Bass Amp with this cord. It's very well made with the plug areas being reinforced as one would expect. The quality of the product - as expected (high). The cord is very flexible which is always nice. The length is perfect, but, lol, I chose it - so it really should be the right length! I've been using it a few years now (and yes, I'm just getting around to posting a review now), but in my opinion - it's best to use the product and see how it holds up - prior to posting a review. I would definitely be inclined to buy this cord again. No, I'm not being paid for my review - this is 100% unbiased and based on personal use - and personal choice when it came to acquiring it. So far so good!

I had crappy cables, but with Fender you can't go wrong. Everything sounds clean, and perfect now.

Seems well made and works fine, but I don't know if you can tell from the product description that this cable is much thicker than a standard cable. Just something to take into consideration depending on how you plan to use it.

A good quality cable can make a positive difference in sound quality. That's definitely true with the Fender cables.
