Does the WiFi signal job.

It improved performance when my PC was recieving poor reception

I recently got an RTX graphics card for a good price and was excited to install it and in my haste I unplugged everything EXCEPT the Antenna that comes with the motherboard and had it mounted to my desk with some heavy duty poster tabs and ended up ripping the cable out of the antenna. I tried finding a replacement for it but couldn't find anything that said it would work with my motherboard until I came across this. It is a fantastic replacement. I have just as fast, just as stable of an internet connection as I had before and it looks nice. So far the only complaint I have is that it is a bit on the big side but thankfully not a major eye sore. My wife came into the room and said she only noticed it because she was actually looking for it and otherwise would have completely overlooked it.

Changed the location of the household office resulting in drastically reduced speeds, when it could stay connected. Literally saw a page load the old-style line by line, didn't think that was possible. Speed tests were 1-3mbs. A lot more walls and other electronics to get through is what I had established. Replaced the motherboard antenna with the extension, mounted to the wall high up, positioned new antenna, booted and speed test was 300+mbs. I'm supposed to have 1gbs, best I've ever tested is 850mbs. Awesome product, highly recommend. Of course, YMMV

Super easy to connect to the SMA ports of my computer, took less than 10 seconds to connect both. Item definitely feels like it's decent quality, nice and rigid, will hold its position until you definitely want to reposition the antennae. Decent upgrade over my stock antennae that come with my computer. First picture (lower numbers) is my stock antennae numbers without any downloads or streaming occurring. Second picture (higher numbers) is the same day, less than 5 minutes later, with the Eightwood antennae installed, while downloading software AND streaming HBO Max at the same time. Five stars on all ratings for this item. It performs above expectations - FOR ITS PRICE, I want to emphasize. It's not an absolutely amazing upgrade, it isn't life-changing, it won't magically make your capped-to-50Mbps-at-max-because-that's-what-you-pay-for Wi-Fi suddenly 80Mbps+. It is, however, an above excellent difference for $17 aftermarket Wi-Fi antennae, if your current setup isn't performing as well as it could with what it's given.

I purchased these as an alternate to the basic antenna that attach to the back of my PC. My wifi router is down stairs and while I've always been able to get a reliable signal the speeds were somewhat slower. I had originally written this off as limitation of the situation but I had moved my PC to the far corner in the room while installing new hardware and was amazed at how much faster the downloads were. Sadly it would be impractical to completely re-arrange the room's furniture and that's why I purchased this Antenna. It's a simple idea. If your PC gets bad reception because of wifi blocking obstructions this lets you just relocate the antenna to somewhere else in the room that get's a better signal. It's got a nice little magnetic base so you can even just mount it to your PC case if that's all you need, but it has a 6 foot cable so you can go out further. My main obstruction was a metal locker right next the PC case, so I just used the magnetic base to mount the antenna at the top of the locker. Average download speeds on Steam went from 5~10Mb/s with the stock antenna to 21~28MB/s with this unit. Meaning I can now download a 50GB file in about 30 mins vs 90+ mins.

I bought this antenna to improve the quality of Wi-Fi signal of stock mobo Gigabyte antenna But the signal strength significantly dropped on 5g network My test was on Wifi analyzer.. Strength droped from about 50 dBm to 80s My test speed also dropped from 210Mb to 130 Mbs I'm really disappointed from this antenna... If you think you want to upgrade your stock one please don't waste your money

Now my PC has BloeTooth and I can walk almost all over my house with the surface headphones connected to it. (I like an external antenn because my PC backs to an external wall so without external antenna I get almost no signal anywhere.)

Works like a magic, my home office is at the dead corner of my wifi router coverage, by using this product, I can get the full speed now, saves me hundreds from buying the mesh system

nearest wifi router to my garage PC is 30 meters. Adding this unit i now get the same speed as the pc in my house.

I used to get 2-3 bars of wifi without this but now I get full bars! Very happy with this little thing.

The antenna is not displaying any change in signal strength.

Performed just as well as the stock antenna I had which was 1/4 the size.
