These shorts with tassels will make a great outfit for Taylor Swift's concert! I can't wait. They are comfortable, not scratchy or itchy at all. The interior is stretchy and just fits well in all the areas. I went a size bigger, 5'1 140lbs and got a Large. Mainly to make sure my booty was not showing. The sparkle is great, especially in better lighting.

For size reference: I am 5 foot 4 and 181 lbs. I have a 35 inch waist and 43 inch hips. I normally wear a LARGE in pants or size 12/14 depending on stretch or brand. This skirt is really cute. It is fun to shake around in and it is flattering to the body. It is high waisted and the fringe is fun. I sized up because I had bought the silver version of these in large and they were a bit too tight on my thighs which made them uncomfortable to wear for a long time. However, sizing up only made this garment baggy in the waist and tummy and it didn't help out the thighs. The thighs felt the same and still a bit tight. So IMO if you have chunky thighs and a smaller waist/tummy sizing up will not help. I don't like how baggy it is but I kept it anyway.

I tried several pieces for a burlesque performance outfit, and these were one of the keepers. These aren't very high-waisted, I would say mid-rise. They go up high on the sides of my hips but don't make it up to my waist, which is my comfort zone as a pear shape with lots of lower belly. Regardless, I thought they had a really flattering fit and they are fun to dance in, so I am keeping them. My one other complaint is that despite the shorts being slightly loose-fitting on me, the zipper seems low quality - it's really hard to zip up on yourself and it seems like the top kind of falls unzipped as you dance. I plan to put in a snap of some sort to keep them up, because the overall look is perfect.

This skirt is really cute! and looks just like what is pictured. I am 5’2”, 150lbs. I purchased a L. It mostly fit, but was a little loose in the bottom, so I possibly could have sized down. The sizing chart seems aimed at people with a larger hip to waist ratio, so I would pick a size based more on the reviews. Some reviews mention the zipper breaking. I haven’t had this issue, but you do have to be very careful to not catch the sequin strings in the zipper.

Baaad zipper. Tried these on when they were delivered and then didn’t wear them until hosting a party for 230 people. Before the party even started, I realized that the zipper teeth would just come apart on their own. I am not fat. I didn’t have a back up Mardi Gras outfit to wear so a friend had to interlink safety pins all the way up the back, which meant I couldn’t go to the bathroom for the entire duration of the gala. Extremely disappointed. Zippergate really made my time stressful & uncomfortable.

I ordered these shorts for the Beyoncé concert and as I was taking them off after trying them on, the zipper came off the track. Managed to get the zipper back on track but it wouldn’t zip completely. Had it not been for my mom replacing them entire zipper, I wouldn’t have been able to wear it. Other than that, it was cute and fun. The tassels cover the cheeks so you don’t feel as exposed.

I bought this for carnival in Brazil. Mixed it with a sparkly sequin top. It was fun and decently comfortable. It held up through a whole day of dancing and partying and I will wear it again next year. I am 5'7", 145 lbs and got the medium. Fit great.

Super cute for festivals or concerts! Wore it for EDC Orlando and it was super comfortable, they’re cheeky but don’t feel super exposed because of the hanging sequins. Overall love these shorts!

A fun bottom that didn't quite work for me. No zipper, it has an elastic waistband, which is fine. Fits small so I'm glad I went a size up. The only thing in disappointed about is that it's not high waisted as advertised.

Nothing like the photo. Doesn’t even have a zipper. It’s a wrap that ties. I needed it for an outfit for tonight and now I have nothing to wear.
