The Perfect Training Balls for Hitting and Pitch Location
3 Things Important Things to Know About These Training Balls 1. These are rubber, as thick as those plastic wiffle balls but soft. Tough enough to withstand whipping hits with a wood or metal bat. So far, with 50 hits on each ball it ain't damaged... yet. 2. Good feedback on batting, spot on hits will fly high but not far maybe till 2nd base. Ground ball type hits will just drop dead and roll little, line drives to pitcher can hurt him (a little) if he doesn't dodge it. 3. Good for location pitching, does not move much when thrown in front of the batter. In comparison to the black & yellow SKLZ Impact Limited-Flight Practice Baseball, these are suited for curveball or moving pitches. But the SKLZ Training Balls, are good in simulating straight fast balls. Combining them both helps in pitch recognition training.
