This laptop cooling pad is the second one that I’ve purchased from this brand and seller, and I returned to this brand for a reason. My first one (the multi-colored fan light version that is also available from this same seller) worked beautifully for over four years, which is impressive compared to other fans I’ve tried (that barely lasted a year). That kind of reliability matters when you work long hours like I do. I’m self-employed and often on my laptop all day long. My laptop computer runs hot enough to fry an egg (or at least make your skin very red and uncomfortable), and in Carolina heat, that’s the last thing anyone needs. This cooling pad does the job. It has six individual fans — three large and three smaller ones spaced perfectly to cool the entire base of my laptop. You can choose to run just the three large fans, the three smaller ones, or all six at once, depending on how much cooling power you need. The dual on/off dials on the back make it easy to control. The fans are quiet, steady, and well-built. The whole unit feels solid. I’ve traveled around the globe with my previous model (it travels well) and I have dropped it more times than I care to admit. No matter how hard I (accidentally) tried, it still held up. This cooling fan feels just as durable and actually feels like it may be more powerful than the last one (which only had five fans). Though I admit that I forgot that I could adjust the fan buttons on the old model too, so I may not have had it on full power since I have not intentionally changed them since I first started using the last one (4+ years ago). Pros: powerful cooling, adjustable settings, quiet operation, and great durability. It is excellent quality for the price. It has little pop up prop arms (I don’t know what they are called) that you can use to prop your laptop up a little bit for added space/improved airflow. Cons: none so far. Overall, this cooling pad earns a strong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me. It’s dependable, effective, and a must-have if your laptop tends to run hot or overheat.

I purchased this Laptop Cooling Pad with 6 Quiet LED Fans for 15.6–17 Inch Laptops, and it has performed very well both as a cooling solution and as a stand. The platform feels stable and comfortably supports a larger laptop without wobbling. The elevated design improves typing angle while also increasing airflow underneath the device. What stood out: • Strong Airflow from Multiple Fans The six-fan configuration provides consistent cooling across the entire base. I noticed reduced heat buildup during longer work sessions and heavier usage. • Adjustable Fan Speed The switch control allows for easy speed adjustment depending on workload. It’s useful to have flexibility rather than one fixed setting. • Quiet Operation Even at higher speeds, the fans remain relatively quiet. The LED lighting is visible but not distracting. • Stable, Slim Design The stand feels sturdy without being bulky. It’s lightweight enough to move easily but solid enough to stay in place during use. • USB Powered Convenience Simple plug-and-play setup. No complicated installation required. Overall, this 6-fan laptop cooling pad improves airflow, reduces heat during extended sessions, and doubles as a comfortable stand. The product is actually great, it is competent and does as advertised, I've even used it to cool-down SSD's when I use my SSK to store data. How effective is the product? Hard to say honestly, but my various tests have established that the SSK unit goes from an average temperature of 60-70°C (They get pretty hot when they run a lot of data) to about 20-30°C, which is honestly impressive and that is just with one of the big fans (since the SSK unit is rather small, see the image for more details) I would dare say that the cooling-pad should be able to reduce the heat by 20°C which is A LOT for a laptop, specially if you are gaming. I know I said the SSK ran cooler by 30-40°C but that is not only a smaller device (which facilitates heat dispersion), but it is also comprised of aluminum which is a good metal to disperse heat, laptops are mostly plastic which are not great heat conductors. However there is a problem with the cooling-pad regarding design. On the top of it you have the LIANSTAR logo, over various uses that logo has begun to split from the cooling-pad itself, watch my 1st annexed image, this can make the cooling-pad not look as cool this happens due to the position of the logo being directly under the exhaust of the laptop itself (especially noticeable for 15 inch laptops). For future revisions I would recommend: -Make the pad more squared sometimes its annoying when I want to pack it in my bag and those irregular edges clash with the insides of the bag or other things like books, however the size and slope are perfect, its good for a 15.4 inch laptop, I might test it on a 16 and 17 inch but probably will not due to the following reasons. -Remove the LIANGSTAR logo and expand the cooling mesh upwards (Put the logo on that space located under the two non-slip deflectors). Mainly because on gaming laptops or those with a 15 to 17 inch form factor have their exhaust located on the sides and back, which would absolutely demolish that logo in a matter of 3-4 months, the larger the laptop gets the more centered are the cooling fans on that logo. Personally my laptop took around 8-9 months to produce that damage, the plastic became warped and you can sorta see the glue sticking out between the 2 layers of plastic. -Last maybe put an option to turn down the lights, sometimes I work at night and the light can be annoying (check the 3rd annexed image) -Phone stand is useless, never used it and I honestly think it should go, even having a phone on the stand would make typing incredibly uncomfortable, unless you type with one hand. Instead lower the two non-slip deflectors so a bigger laptop can take full advantage of the cooling mesh. Overall good product: Solid build quality for the most part, the materials used are not subpar but the design does not implement them properly, there are some questionable design choices like the location of the LIANGSTAR logo, phone stand and non-slip deflectors. It would seem like the product was made for a 13 inch laptop since that size can take full advantage of the cooling capabilities of the pad.

Feels sturdy, size is pretty big so can accommodate larger laptops. Usb from laptop powers it so easy setup. Two rotating switches control one set of three large fans or three smaller fans each so you can use one or the other or both but i just leave the large fans going. The fans are quiet even when all 6 are on. The blue leds are not noticeable as its under the lapttop so its fine. There is one extra usb port to power something. Overall its doing what i wanted which is extra cooling so 5 stars for now. There are flip out legs to angle the laptop if you use it on a desk.

It’s not disruptive enough to be a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely not as quiet as advertised. Another issue is the blue LED lights, which are visually appealing but cannot be turned off without shutting down the fans entirely. This can be annoying in low-light environments or if you prefer a distraction-free setup. Overall: The LIANGSTAR Laptop Cooling Pad is a solid choice for keeping your laptop cool and comfortable, with thoughtful features like adjustable fan speeds and an ergonomic design. However, the noise level and inability to disable the LED lights without turning off the fans are notable downsides. If you don’t mind a bit of noise and constant blue lighting, this cooling pad is a reliable option for the price.
