I really love how warm this coat keeps me. It is very well made with a lot of attention to detail put into its design, The wrists of the coat have wrist bans that block the wind and cold from coming up through the sleeves and the hood has an inner pulley that helps draws the hood closer to my face which effectively keeps the wind and cold out. The coat can be zipped and buttoned, but even just buttoning the coat and not zipping it keeps the cold out. The back of the hood has a strip of velcro that the hood can be made shorter by if the hood is too big and falls too far down the face. I used the velcro strip to shorten the hood and the hood fits perfectly now. But I removed the fur around the hood as it made it look as if I had grey, wild looking hair framing my face. But, other than that, this coat really is outstanding. The coat has snaps around the hip area that can be undone to make the coat less restrictive for those who may find the coat too snug around the hips. The coat can also be pulled in at the waist by inner cords which is another great feature of this coat. I am 5'1 and three quarters inches tall and weigh 124 pounds. I ordered a medium because I like to wear heavy sweaters and wanted to have extra space in the coat to accommodate a heavy sweater. I ordered my coat in pink and it really is a very light colored, pretty pink. The medium is roomy enough for me to wear a heavy sweater under it and not feel like a stuffed sausage within it. I just love this coat! I am surprised that it is not priced higher as it very well could be due to how well it's made and how warm it keeps me in cold weather.

I bought a large, but it was too big. I returned it to buy a medium. In the worst days of winter, this coat is exceptional. It's warm, moisture resistant, and very well made. I call this "the animal" because this isn't a coat you can just throw on and run, as it is insulated and puffy, but then, if you're looking to stay protected from the elements, this coat will take care of you. For the price, this coat is a bargain! I expect it will last a long time given its workmanship. Only thing I didn't like was the faux fur around the hood, because it was flat and not full and fluffy, but it is detachable so no big deal. No regrets in buying this coat.

Great coat! I love that it has both a zipper and buttons, and that the buttons are secured with a nylon band and not just sown on. The zipper also has two pulls, so you can adjust to have the bottom loose while you’re active, and still stay warm. Pockets are very deep, and warm inside. This is a really great coat, and at a great price.

It is a very nice looking jacket. The quality is very good and it seems to be made well. I wore it fora the first time yesterday, {it was cold and windy out} I was very warm and comfortable all day. I am thrilled with my purchase. the best winter jacket I own now.

I love this jacket so much I just ordered a second one to have once this one finally wears out! It is well made, heavy duty, really warm but not to where you will sweat. I took the fir off as I have horses and need to work outside in the rain and snow. I am a 38DD up top, and first I ordered an XL and it was huge! So they quickly refunded me and I bought a Large. Bingo - fits up top with a thin puffer jacket or thick sweater underneath for extra warmth. It is wind proof, and so far, water proof. Large front pockets I can slide my thick gloves in and out as I work on the ranch. I ran into a nail here and there and so far, no rips or snags! I wear a size 6 or 8 in woman's pants and not very "hippy" and there is allot of room in the hip area of this jacket. That works our well as I have to bend over allot while working. I am able to easily sit if needed, even drive a car/truck. If you have generous hips, this is the jacket for you. I LOVE the length and extra protection from the wind and cold. The hood, wrist and waist all have adjustments if needed. The only one I brought in is the hood around my face. I have used the double zipper feature a few times where I unzipped to get to clothing or pockets underneath the jacket and it is handy since the length is so long. You need to get both zipperheads lined up together at the bottom and then feed in the other side down through both heads and then it zips up easily. I soon realized this is one of those rare occasions where when this jacket finally wears out, I would be so sad so I ordered an extra one to have in the closet for the future. You know what I mean about that perfect clothing item that you have a hard time replacing..? This is it. Hope this helps someone

CUFFS REEK OF PERFUME!!! Not sure how it has tags on but the cuffs reek of perfume???? Didn't even realize it until I had already removed the tags and the smell had gotten on a sweatshirt I was wearing under this jacket. OTHER THAN THAT... which is aggravating... the jacket is warm and I do like it. I will try my hardest to get the awful perfume smell out bc it smells like an old lady really badly.

I haven't worn it yet but l can give you another review in December.

Bought this while travelling to UK for studies.Has held up in the winter very well.If you are thinking of buying a coat online, this definitely is a good option

Winter is coming..... I ordered this coat on 26 November - the delivery date was set to 09 December. Y'all saw the news.... massive storms destroyed most interior BC highways & railways - cargo ships couldn't reach Vancouver to unload - so the order was understandably delayed to 30 December. Thing is, we're selling our house and all my winter clothes are packed in storage. I got the Amazon delay notice, panicked and emailed customer service. The very next day (10 Nov) I get a DHL email confirming immediate delivery - 3 days later I'm trying it on. Now that's a Christmas miracle. No wait - it was marked down $40+ for black Friday to $95 (go figure) what a blessing! This coat was made in Ohio (not f?&#@!% China) - reliable US manufacturing - well made sturdy material (no chemical scent) - completely blocks rain and wind - fit exact to size (I'm 5.1 slightly portly 117 lbs - so medium fits nicely) It zips to the neck and reaches almost to my knees - so most of my body is covered/protected. That said, it's light weight - dons and doffs quickly/easily. The fur piece zippers off (thank God) and that big hood will certainly keep the rain off. The satin-smooth lining is thickly padded so the coat is very warm (like toasty) and I'd rate it perfect for snow shoeing or long winter hikes. I'm really happy. Mostly this is to THANK Amazon customer service staff (and DHL) for coming through, now I have a great winter coat and grateful indeed for their kind hearts and hard work.... Size true to fit! Nice and warm! I got a large and I could fit a sweater underneath and it doesn't feel tight.

Not feminine as shown in photos. Comes up very large in shoulders. Had to return as far too big. I'm a UK size 8 and ordered small.
