I can’t say enough good things about this amazing product and the Verefina company! I originally purchased the lemongrass+lavender scented deodorant on Amazon, and though I loved the product because it really worked, the scent wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Scents are a personal thing, and though it smells good, I had a sensitivity to smelling that particular one on my body all day. What works for one person may not be quite right for another. Short of purchasing and trying every scent to find “the one”, I messaged the company directly hoping for some guidance. I received prompt, personalized, friendly and informed assistance. The company website offers sample sizes that you can try (and as an added bonus, they’re perfect to carry in your purse or pocket on the go). After some suggestions, I was sent samples to try (which were beautifully wrapped by the way) along with a handwritten note. The attention to detail and quick response impressed me. Needless to say, I found the perfect scent! Exotic Cedar! It not only works exceptionally well, it’s like aromatherapy all day long! I even put some more on before I go to bed because it smells so good! I’m so happy I gave this a try. What more could you ask for? An amazing product, from an amazing company, at a manageable price point. It’s a healthy alternative, that glides on easily, leaves no residue on my clothes and works as it should all day! Perfect is very single way. I get itchiness from chemical deodorants. I sweat a lot and I’m very active. I’m a man. This deodorant lasts all day, smells great, doesn’t come with a bunch of chemicals, all organic. However, this will stain your clothes of all colors. It’s extremely difficult to remove the stains from clothing. Not impossible though, you will have to hand scrub the armpit area with soap and warm water and then put them into the wash. It’s a process. I wish I could keep using it, because it’s perfect otherwise, but that con alone pushes me to find another. Plus it’s smaller than your average stick of deodorant. It’s not a solid, more like a hard cream. Very sticky.

I've only been using this deodorant for about 2 weeks now, but so far so good. The first hurdle was how well it went on and whether it caused a rash. I'm happy to say it goes on very smoothly without you having to warm it like the other brands, and no rash! The second hurdle is a little harder to hit for natural deodorants and that's holding up to a hot flash! If I have one or two, the deodorant holds up pretty well. If I have any more than that, I'd have to reapply. But you don't have to use a lot of this. Just two to three swipes under each arm. As for the smell, I ordered the clean scent. It smells a little bit like a citronella candle, but it's not an unpleasant smell. It's kind of citrus-y. Product probably lasts a month to a month and a half if you follow the two to three swipe rule. I'm pretty pleased with it, enough that I ordered two more. Good luck!

In all honesty I originally gave this product a one star review because the scent I had chosen, Clean, gave me headaches. And it made me smell like camping (citronella candles), which I wasn't a fan of. But I assumed I must have gotten the wrong scent because I noted the deodorant itself was long lasting. If it had just been a scent I enjoyed, I might have had a completely different experience. Jen, the owner of Verafina, reached out even though I had left a pretty snarky negative review and not only offered a refund, but offered to send me her full line to test out. I'm so glad Jen responded with kindness because I found a great scent, Exotic Cedar! I also really liked the Grapefruit & Spearmint. I've been using her deodorants for almost a month now and I have not experienced any chafing or burning, and I have pretty sensitive skin. If you check out the negative reviews, it seems it's mostly people, that like me, didn't appreciate the Clean scent. So if you're reading through here trying to decide, I say go for it, you'd also be supporting a small business run by a lovely, hard-working person!

I purchased the deodorant for my teenage daughter. I had purchased other scents previously that smelled wonderful. The problem was this one came very grainy so she didn’t like it. Plus, the scent didn’t smell too good. I liked the longevity as an adult but the texture was to much to deal with. I don’t like doing reviews but felt it was time. I will order another scent for myself and see what happens. I did attempt to make contact with the company and never got through. As of now, my daughter doesn’t care to try anymore because she feels all the deodorants will be grainy. You know how teenagers are. I’ll go back to the Lemongrass and Lavender scent. Although, I’d like to try the citrus one day.

This is a bit hard to apply. Not soft at all. Seems to work fairly well but wish it was softer and easier to apply.

I was really hoping that this deodorant was going to be a winner, but NOPE!! It gets a high score from me for its effectiveness against odor and perspiration, but the scores are low when it comes to causing black spots that developed in and around my armpits (thanks to the baking soda(?)), and the overall scent that was supposed to smell of "exotic cedar", but it smells like shoe polish! I gave this deodorant a good chance. I actually used it for a month to see if perhaps my body chemistry would adjust to the formula, and maybe the spots would have gone away, but they didn't. They just multiplied, and yes, THAT WAS NOT CUTE!! It was definitely the deodorant, because once I stopped using it, the black spots went away. Verefina was a VereFINE mess!! My natural deodorant journey so far has been educational, eye-opening, disappointing, and expensive. :(
