I bought these to keep my long thick hair out of my face when washing or applying makeup.For the most part, they do a good job. They are made of some type of nylon fabric which inherently has a bit of a slip factor, and that's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars......sometimes the headband will start to make a slow slide off my head, usually when I have wet hands and can't pull it back up easily!However, they usually stay nicely in place and they came in a range of pretty colors. I'm not one to wear headbands for fashion, but they could be used for that purpose too. The colors I got were a nice blue, pink, green, white and black.A versatile set of headbands with many uses. Apart from occasional slippage, they are very good in their performance, and you can't beat the price. I recommend them.

~These headbands range from 2 ¼" -2 ½ " in width.~They are stretchy, but some stretch more than others!AND the lengths are not all the same-up to ½" longer for some-in the same package.~I am still giving them five stars-with all the size discrepancy's for-price, colors AND I personally like this range of widths better than a 3 to 4 inch wide hair band...~ the material is easy to wash and mine last for years- I lose them first!~These aid in keeping my hair back when-removing make up, applying face masks, tweezing brows, COOKING!, to adding an accessory to my hair-and I do not like to be without a few around me at all times.~As a former Hairstylist of over 20 years, I think this type of stretchy band is a must for all girls and women of any age- we can all use them.~I love seeing a short cute 'hair-do, cut, style' sporting a cute hairband.~These might be 'seconds' but they work very well.PS... I was pretty bummed when I received a mixed pack with no olive green color... Instead it was a mix of pastels with a grey and black thrown in. The only reason I bought this particular pack vs others was because I thought I was getting the olive green color. Otherwise, these are the same I could have bought at my local dollar store. They work, but eventually don't shrink back down to size (and I typically wear a size medium when it comes to anything hat or headband related). Bummed, but it is what it is I guess.

I ordered the neon pack, even though it was difficult to see the colors in Amazon’s photo. Just sharing a picture of what I received so it might help other people. I personally love them!

I received 4 bands in a cottony fabric, and one in nylon. I cannot use the nylon band as it slides off my fine, silky hair. Which is why I went for the cottony product. Which is adequate. But- 1 of 5 is trash.Substitution sucks. I see it a lot with Az vendors.Frustrating.
