Still Reading Khan

I bought this book used, and it arrived in perfect condition, like new. This is a must have for any SRK fan, but for others interested in films and filmmaking, as well. It's beautifully photographed and produced, and the stories and anecdotes about Shah Rukh Khan's life and career are just endlessly fascinating. If you're at all interested in this brilliant, most interesting actor, this will give you even more to think about and enjoy. One caveat: this is a BIG book, quite heavy, so read it with a pillow on your lap! Many thanks to Mushtaq Shiekh and to Shah Rukh Khan for this wonderful book!

This a big, big, BIG book. It's a somewhat extravagant treat, granted, but oh so worth it! Beautifully put together, excellent photographs, fascinating subject. Just one warning to non-Hindi speakers: Indians have the delightful habit of flowing in and out of several languages at once. It's a charming trait, actually, and it works well if you happen to be fluent in the two languages that are being used in the same sentence. This works well for the Indian market, of course, and the NRI market, probably. But it's not so great for the NII market (the Non-Indian Indian market)that a growing number of Europeans and Americans belong to. I am so fond of SRK films that I've started learning Hindi. But the pitiful few words I've managed to learn do not begin to help me understand some of the many Hinglish phrases contained in this book. Still and all, if you're a Khan fan, this book is a must.

If you really love Shahrukh Khan this book has it all. The book traces back to his father when he was a young man growing up and just where Shahrukh got his calling. It's a heavy book. When I got it in it took me three days to go completely through it and it was worth every cent. Shahrukh is a beautiful man and this gives a view into that beautiful man.

Very pleased with this book, it is very well written and I love the look of the whole book. Shah Rukh Khan is my favorite performer in the whole world, so proud to have this beautiful book about his life. He's an amazing man.

This is a well-made, high quality book full of photos and history of Shah Rukh Khan put together in a scrapbook style. It's not something you could read in one sitting. It is more something you can enjoy over time. The large size is perfect for displaying on your magazine table or another prominant place in your house. And it is great for guests to enjoy while visiting. This is a treasure in our home!

I purchased this as an anniversary gift for a friend who is a huge SRK fan. I was very pleased with the service- I did expedited service and the book arrived in 2 days as I expected. It is a big thick coffee table style book with never before seen pictures of SRK and his family and interesting information. I would rate it 5 stars, if it were not for the price. At about $60 including shipping, I thought the price is a bit steep, although SRK fans might find it worth every cent!

It looks great and the photos are amazing and fabulous. In this case you can say its title can be also still watching (photos of) Khan. Sometimes it gets hard to understand because of use of hindi without translation but it's a minor thing. But still it's a book which is quite har to take with you to bed or around becuse of its format and weight. But totally worth it!
