This product is AMAZING!
I bought this Dura-Dressing for my 2018 2500 Silverado and for the tires on my Segway. I have read some bad reviews about this. The only way someone would say it’s bad is if they did not follow the instructions. For the first use I applied it to the tires on my Segway, it required 3 cleanings for each tire and allowing drying time between cleanings. I could not believe the amount of stuff that came off of the tires, by the 3rd cleaning the rinse water was clear. I waited until the tires were dry, using a leaf blower to speed it up. After the tires were dry I applied the first coat, after 15 minutes they still looked wet. Was I surprised when I touched them and they were completely dry! I applied the second coat and they turned out twice as shiny! If you are going to buy this, READ AND FOLLOW the instructions! It takes time to scrub clean each tire very well and apply the coating! Plan on an hour for each tire. Even the directions state “If you don’t like the product, you did not follow the directions!” I’m waiting on the purchase of my new tires for my truck and apply it to them. I included a video of my Segway tires. The video was taken on a cloudy day. Pros This dressing will never “sling” off on your vehicle. Dirt, mud and road grime will not stick to it. You do not need to reapply every week! A touch up may be required after a few months! It will not crack, peel or flake off! It gives your tires that WET look! Everything needed to get that great look your vehicle tires deserves is included. Cons, It takes time to do it right, you must clean each tire very well. If your not into reading directions, this will be the time to start.

It works and it’s amazing
I’m giving it 5 stars right now because I just got done with doing my tires. I must say that the finished result looks incredible. It was way easier to do it with tires off. Compared to when the tire is mounted to the wheel and installed on the car. It doesn’t wipe off when dry. I have not washed or cleaned the car with them on. It took many hrs to scrub and wipe off all the silicone on the tires. The first day I sprayed each tire with degreaser first, scrubbed, rinsed, then put dish soap, scrubbed, washed. Let it dry. At this point there’s like a white film that is kind of hard to scrub off. I had to re apply the wheel cleaner Atleast 4x on each tire. Each time allowing it to fully dry, assess where there’s left over silicone and scrub again. Finally once’s it done I applied 2 coats to each tire of the dura shine and let it dry completely before the 2nd coat. Here’s the end result. There is a photo of the car where the front wheel does not have the applied dressing and the rear has the durashine dressing on. Let’s see how long it lasts.

It’s great stuff if you have 6 hrs for prep and final coats.
To start, I just bought this truck so I don’t know how or where the tires had been used. It’s a 2021 2500 HD Sierra Duramax with 17,000 miles. I anticipated the cleaning process and gave myself plenty of time. It took me 5 cleanings per tire to get it so the foam was white and didn’t have brown or black in it. The amount of stuff that came off the first round was mind blowing. 😂 I wanted to make sure to follow their directions to a T so I was patient and scrubbed for literally hours. It took me 15 minutes per tire for the first couple cleanings because they were dirty. The next few rounds went faster. I would guess 7-10 minutes. They were definitely clean after 5 go arounds. I used my backpack blower on all 4 after the 5th round because I was going to do the coating. For the other 4 rounds they were dry by the time I got back around but I wanted to be sure. The first two coatings of the shine I used a paint brush to get into all the nooks (highly highly recommend this) and the next two (4 coats total) I just went around each wheel and made sure the major surfaces were good and coated. They came out looking very sharp. I will say after 6 hours they had better look great. Now, to see how long it lasts and if that was worth it.

Decent despite being a religious company.
Minus one star for some geezus crap on the inside of the lid, I won't be buying again. But it seems to work pretty well at least. Not sure it's worth the time it takes to apply, nor the cost. Only time will tell. :)

Worth the work!
This is my second application from a little over a year ago. I LOVE this stuff! The high gloss lasted about 4 months, then, for another 4-5mos it had a lower shine. The last 6mos it was still great because the tires stayed a deep black, so it still looked good after washing. I go through the automatic wash every 7-10 days, then a good hand wash once a month, or so. You HAVE to scrub, scrub, scrub! The first time I had some "bald" spots where I didn't get cleaned good enough. It takes a good 5 wash and rinses, each tire. This time I did 3 additional passes even after bubbles were white and I always had some "brown" pop up. I won't lie, it's hard work, took about 5hrs from beginning to end, but I won't have to do anything to the tires again. If you want to keep the high gloss all you have to do is 1 good scrub and reapply as soon as gloss fades. I've had several friends get it, some look better than the others. The ones that didn't look good cleaned more and came out great. Scrub, scrub, SCRUB!! It's worth the time and $$!! When it's time for new tires, I'm going to bring them home first and apply Dura coat, then have them installed.
