Camera Shutter Button (2 Pack/Silver) Upscale and Delicate Soft Shutter Release Button

This shutter button looks great and feels great. I wish I had gotten it sooner. I’m using one on my X100 and it fits it perfectly. I’m using another on a Pentax K1000 and it is slightly higher than I would like but still works great. I’m happy with the quality, it feels solid.

I've seen a few of these shutter buttons on many cameras and wanted to try it. I received the button overnight and installed it on my Canon AE-1. Other than looking great, the shutter functions smoother for me. You can feel the shutter faster and depress it quickly due to the higher trigger point. The materials seem very durable, and I like the texture on the edge of the button. After using the shutter button for a few photo shoots, I need to ensure the button doesn't become too loose and fall off. It has fallen off a couple of times during my shoots. That's due to not over tightening the button since i have a trigger cable I like to switch to on the shutter occasionally. It's not a big deal, but I am aware and constantly ensure the button is tight. If had anymore vintage cameras, I would buy a button for each camera.

This button really makes taking photos easier on my diabetic and arthritic finger, Its easier to find than the stock release button, and adds a nice little touch of color to my silver and black Fujifilm X-T5. Great value, quality construction, super simple install (just slip on the o-ring and screw it in). Only 2 concerns... #1 - by the nature of how the on/off switch is placed and designed on this particular camera, I do have to take care to make sure I don't unscrew it during daily use. So I just check it once in a while, like every few days, etc. #2 - I do worry a bit about the lateral stress that it may place on the shutter release button, but I don't worry about it enough to remove this topper.

Glad it came in a two pack cause the first one jumped off and I lost it after 3 uses. I installed the 2nd one without the rubber ring in hopes of screwing it in more tightly. It's fun to use though.

it is red and it is a button and actually it kind of changed how the camera feels when using the shutter. i like it. only complaint... it's a little pricey for what it is. you should get a couple more in the bag. like four. the red looks great next to the silver on the AE-1, Pentax sp1000 and Minolta srT200...
