GRAEF H9 H9EU All- Purpose Slicer, Wood, Silver

Chose this slicer for my sourdough bread. Adjustable thickness setting is great, cuts through the crust with ease, and without smashing the loaf. Suction footing works well with granite countertops.

Good quality, unlike other competitors out there and really made in Germany. Very solid product, very satisfied.

Received this about a month ago and absolutely Love the precision cuts I can now do on my sourdough bread, used to dislike the process but now I have to get to it before my husband because he likes to slice the bread now.

Good slicer. Like the shuttle, and the fact it protects you from the blade. Wish it had a little more travel because the blade sometimes doesn’t quite completely cut the last edge. If paying attention you can push the loaf a little further, but when slicing a loaf would rather the shuttle have that extra travel. That’s the reason for the 1 less star, but really a half star. It’s a really good slicer with finer width adjustment than the zassenhaus (also purchased). Haven’t tried anything but bread, but looking forward to trying deli meats, etc.

I had a cheap wood and plastic bread slicer that pales in comparison to this. It did eventually occur to me that every time I would slice my bread I was getting little pieces of plastic in it and on my knife and then I was eating that. Not to mention the fact that it was clunky and a very bad design. However this kitchen appliance is gold!! it slices like butter. My favorite feature is that the feet have a little suction cups so it’s nice and sturdy and doesn’t shift. It is one of the best splurges ever. If you’re a bread baker this is a must have. I recommend that you put it on your Christmas list and share it with your family!

It came in!! I couldn't be more excited right now. I have a cottage bakery and wanted to be able to offer sliced bread. I have been looking for awhile and finally decided on the Graef. I loved that it came with the finger guard and that it's all metal. This was the biggest reason I decided to spend a bit more on it. It's easy to clean. Easy to use. It sticks to my granite countertop without fuss. The customer service during the transit was top notch.
