Another Sharon Sala book that will catch you unaware and leave you on the edge of your chair unable to put this book down before finishing it. At 12 years of age, Jordan Bien is caught between being a little girl and turning into a young woman. When her father, who has been absent for two years, shows up at her house and invites her to spend the night with him in a fancy motel, Jordan jumps at the opportunity. Jordan doesn’t realize that her father is kidnapping her and taking her to Kentucky where she will forced to become a child bride with the purpose of being a breeder for a psychic cult. Jordan’s mother, Tara Bien finds herself caught in a nightmare and no way to get the police to help her. Fortunately, Jordan had sent her mother a text telling her that she was going with her father. Tara is a lawyer and quickly contacts Charlie Dodge who is a private investigator. This is a riveting book and one of Sala’s best books. Don’t miss it!

PI Charlie Dodge and his assistant Wyrick has been hired by a mother whose daughter has been kidnapped by the girls estranged father. Jordan’s dad picked her up and told her that they were going to stay at a hotel for the night, however, Unbeknownst to the little girl her father was taking her to become a child bride for the fourth dimensional cult.Charlie and Wyrick team up with some FBI agents who finds Wyrick to be different because she can invent anything. So while Jordan is in the women’s barracks, she does not give up. She is very defiant, And she starts making the other girls think about what’s going on. In her own way, she makes things work for her.Wyrick Has made a drone That is beyond anything that the world has ever seen, and the FBI agents decide they want it, however Wyrick is way smarter than all those FBI agents together.Charlie and Warwick continues to do the back-and-forth sarcastic remarks to each other but they still work great as a team. In this book we find out about Charlie’s Wife Anna who has taken a fall and on top of that has Alzheimer’s, his head is kind of not in the game. But don’t fear, because Wyrick and that little girl Jordan is going to take down this cult.One of my favorite parts in the book is when Jordan comes out of the barracks sliding and putting her arms across like wonder woman and causes chaos enough that everything begins to fall apart. And with Wyrick‘s drone the cult is shut down.PI Charlie Dodge and Wyrick gets little Jordan home to her mom. I truly cannot do this job book any justice, with my words. You must read this book. I love the characters I love the storyline because of Jordan and how as a little girl she never gave up, and she in a sentence saved her self. Heroes can come in small packages and Jordan was a hero in this book. Charlie dodge and Wyrick are the two characters who gives a life to these books.I am waiting patiently for the next book. I must see what happens between Charlie Dodge, and Wyrick. They may banter back-and-forth, have thoughts about each other, it may be the most unlikely pair to work together, but they are the best team I have read about In my life.I don’t know how Sharon Sala Does it, but every time I think any of her books cannot get any better she jumps to mystery and she starts writing a PI book with a smart sassy woman, and a tall rugged, strong man. And they work. Even if Charlie doesn’t know if he’s the boss or not of his PI firm. I look forward to More in this series.

Once again Sharon Sala gives insight into dealing with a love one's Alzheimer's and having to carry on with living. In this case it is PI Charlie Dodge juggling his business and personal life. He and his extraordinary assistant, Wyrick, are investigating a kidnapping by parent with psychic abilities. The strength of determination exhibited by the characters is one reason I always enjoy anything written by this author. This is the second book in the series and I believe it can stand alone, but my odc requires that I read in order. I can't wait until the next book in the series.

Jordan's father is psychic and she is too. Her parents are divorced and after he has been absent from Jordan's life for two years, he shows up telling her he is taking her to his hotel overnight and will contact her mother, his ex-wife Tara. Little does he know, but Jordan sent her mother a text and her dad did not know this. Her dad then takes her cell phone and charger and puts it under her pillow instead of in the overnight bag Jordan had packed. It didn't take long for Jordan to realize her dad kidnapped her and was not taking her to a hotel. Her dad was involved with a cult and Jordan was supposed to be his sacrifice so he could take one of the other young girls as his bride. You will not be able to put this book down once you start reading it, Sharon Sala. keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to know how the book ends!

Young girl, kidnapped by her father to be inducted to a cult, decides to say NO. She lights bravely in the small ways she can, knowing her Mom will find her. Charlie and company (who I just adore) are on the case. The vital difference between being a victim and a warrior survivor on her own terms is clear. Loving this series, can’t wait for the next!

I usually don't like books that run in a series, because I want a story to end. The characters were wonderful and awful. Even though I wanted ALL of the cult men to be destroyed, some of them questioned what they were doing because of a wonderfully brave little girl. That made that feel human for me. I still wanted them to pay for what they were doing. Jordan was amazing. I can't wait for the next Installment.

Second Sight by Sharon Sala did not disappoint. It was entertaining, suspenseful, and fast paced. I love it when adults in trouble make the right decisions. The characters were great each and every one of them. I will be sad when she completes the series and Dodge and Wyrick have no more stories. The "second sight" element made the book more entertaining.

I couldn't put this one down,I started reading it and I was hooked.Mystery,suspense,thrills and a whole lot of action.A really amazing story,one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Wyrickとペプシが主人公だよね？もちろん！というのが私の感想。　前作の”Missing Piece” は犯人は一体誰？と悩みながら読み、見事に外れました。著者の勝ちです。今回の作品は、誘拐された子どもの救出劇。登場人物の言葉が毅然と生きることの大切さを私達に教えてくれます。　Wyrickのファッション、メイクを想像するのも楽しいし、食事のシーンも多く、行間から美味しい匂いが漂ってきそうです。Wyrickが飲むペプシはなんだか特別美味しそう！　ちなみに英語表現は初心者にもわかりやすくKindleの辞書でだいたいわかります。
