Great blades, I use them with my less expensive Feather DE razor, the plastic handle version, which is not a degrading factor. The feather plastic hand DE razor is a great razor and paired with these blades makes the perfect touch up razor.

I’ve been using these for about 5 years now. The razor does make a difference in how good they work. I actually prefer using them in my cheaper butterfly style razor over the type that separate into two pieces. So yourself a favor. Ditch the 5 blades and go old school. It’s much cheaper, more sanitary, and a better shave overall.

Was just starting out on DE shaving and wanted a more than decent starters kit - finally went in for a Merkur 34C with these blades - make no mistake these are killer sharp blades with the Merkur being a solid as a tank slightly aggressive shaver.
