Bought this item due to its popularity, good reviews, and its cost. Was a bit of a stab in the dark. But, I really am impressed with its ease of use and performance. With regards to the charging lights, there's only 4 different light sequences which keep it nice and easy to understand. Keeps my battery charged full throughout the winter evenings. Plus, you can keep it connected the whole time and just leave it, as it keeps the battery at 100% without overcharging it. A nice, compact bit of kit. Was quite surprised with how small it is, but it packs quite a good punch. Another cool thing I like, is that you can remove the clamps from the wires, and then just directly screw the metal rings onto the battery and leave it on. So when you want to charge, just plug it into the plastic socket at the other end of the wire. Makes it so much simpler to use. Overall, really happy. Been recommending to all my biker friends.

Had to send the first charger back as it was defective, displaying red and green flashing LEDs alternately, before shutting down after a few minutes. The item had arrived unsealed and with tears to the packaging so it seems as it had been returned as defective before being sent out to me. The replacement arrived the next day, properly sealed, and I set it up in my camper. It worked exactly as it should and is now keeping the starting battery topped up.

Battery on my caravan had dropped over winter slightly and hadn't got enough charge to use the motor mover. Put the battery on charge for 48hrs and it was fully charged. Great bit of kit would recommend

Good piece of kit, does the job brilliantly

Needed one of these to keep my bike battery topped up after finding battery discharged yet again after a couple of weeks standing unused. Unit plugs into mains directly and has around 6ft cable with connecting plug on other end. The other cable has crocodile clips on it which can be removed exposing two eyes that connect directly to the battery. It's a pain to access the battery on my bike so I chose this method. This 2nd cable is around 18 inches long and required routing to find an easily accessible dry and clean place for connecting to main lead. You can buy longer cables if needed. No instructions in box. Go online and find them. Not the simplest to understand but main thing is know your battery type, ie. agm, lead acid. All up and running very happy so far. Observed it going through it's different phases and now has steady green light. Update: Unit developed a fault shortly after install following a very promising start. Made contact with Noco technical support who agreed that the unit was faulty and helpfully offered to assist with my return. Not required as Amazon returns process is excellent. Ordered the same as a replacement on the assumption that I can't be unlucky twice. New unit arrived next day and works (so far) as it should.

Brilliant device, gently recharged a completely flat battery, reminding us how important a trickle charge is!

Unsafe. After first use, the top prong of the plug snapped off whilst removing it from the mains socket and meant a full house power shutdown to recover it from the socket. It seems the UK spec top prong is a hollow plastic part of the molded casing rather than the conventional 3 metal plug prongs. Pretty shoddy for a higher priced “quality” product.

I ordered 5 units, but only 2 came in sealed packaging. One was used before, so it looked like a return. Other than that they all work fine.
