Vibrant Performance Vibrant 1147 Streetpower Black Flat Oval Muffler, 20 inches

I put together a custom exhaust on a 2001 accord with an H22A swap using this muffler. Used 3" stainless piping, this product and a Vibrant 1142 3" Ultra Quiet Resonator. The car feels great to drive now, definite power improvement, but the amount of drone and interior vibrations are unbearable, lol. My fault for thinking a straight through muffler could be decently quiet. The exhaust tone is very low and bass-y, can feel it in my chest standing behind the car. There is a bit of rasp but the overall tone is pretty nice. Used a spectrum analyzer app, sound level peaks at 75-115 Hz. I would not recommend this product for a daily driven car without some extra resonators, e.g. helmholtz. EDIT: After 5,000 miles the volume of the exhaust has settled significantly. There's still a little drone but the experience is completely different. It's not as loud, the floor doesn't vibrate any longer, I get surprised by how quiet it is while idling. The tone is still deep and low just not as loud when idling or cruising. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 because while my exhaust is still 'loud' by any standard, it's hard to believe its not louder considering it's a three inch 100% "straight through" exhaust (no baffles anywhere). These mufflers are doing a lot of work and are doing a good job.

Perfect for a sleek unsuspecting setup. Nice deep tone in my opinion. I have this coupled with an ultra quiet resonator, running 3”s all the way through. I do this or very similar on all my setups and I have always been pleased. You may end up with some drone depending on your setup, but if you have it far enough back it shouldn’t be an issue. No raspiness at all as far as i can tell from in the car. 5/5 I’ll buy again for my next car

This product is well made. IT WAS INSTALLED THE SAME DAY. ITS NOT VERY LOUD MUCH BETTER THAN THE STOCK ONE..THE TONE IS VERY DEEP...NO DRONE. THE PRICE AND CONDITION WAS GREAT FOR A USED PRODUCT..

Very well built muffler. Had a local shop install it on my 2017 Jetta GLI 2.0T with a 3" Catless downpipe and vibrant resonator. It was pretty freaking loud and had tons of cabin drone on the highway. So I finally pulled the trigger on this muffler and couldn't be more happy with the exhaust note and volume it had now. I included a small WOT pull for anybody with a similar setup VW or Audi.

Very effective in exhaust noise reduction! I have locked vtec on my turbocharged civic with a 3" exhaust and before you couldn't hear yourself think while on the highway, but after installing this coupled with the ultra-quiet resonator, you can actually have a conversation on the phone while driving! No noticeable drop in power either, but I haven't gone back to the dyno as yet for a more objective comparison!

I have a 03 Honda accord coupe v6 manual. When I say it’s hard to find an exhaust system for this car without sending an arm and a leg it’s hard. I got 2 of these and had my local exhaust shop straight pipe 2.5in from the j pipe all the way back to the vibrant mufflers and it’s an amazing sound not loud and raspy sounds good
