I have a Samsung smart tv and after my husband dropped water all over our night stand our remote control had stopped working, after using the rice method to dry it out it started to work somewhat but the channel down volume down and arrow down buttons wouldn't work anymore. Since we rarely watch cable and rely solely on our hub and app features those were buttons we HAD TO HAVE! Especially since Netflix coincedentaly started to mess up at the same time so we had to re login and you can just imagine how hard it was with no down buttons. Without a box, receipt or even manual I didn't know what to do or where to even begin looking for a replacement remote. I didn't know the make/model number or anything but I chanced it by typing in "Samsung Smart tv & the number on the remote" as a search and there were so many results I didn't know which to click on. I'm skeptical about buying online but since I have an amazon account for my kindle I trusted anyone through them, that only narrowed it down by a few so I looked at what was local versus overseas, the prices, shipping/handling options and reviews, and after days of research I decided this was the best choice to take my chances on. It was cheap, it showed up long before the estimated delivery date, there was no problems with buying (such as scams or them taking more out of my bank account or anything else), I just popped in batteries and it worked smoothly and perfectly even better than my original no problems technical issues or any other reason for me to contact them for help or even returns the only thing I can complain about is our original had a light button on it and the remote lit up, but honestly we never used it anyways and when it was on it just drained our battery more so that's not a problem for us :) so I'm 100% satisfied as a customer and even bookmarked them so I can buy from them in the future if my remote ever breaks on me again (or if my husband drops more liquid on it lol)

Works fine, however, buttons do not light up like the original

Have to order a new one just 6 months later--in the middle of watching Jane the Virgin!! Has been acting up lately and now it simply won't work. I live alone and always keep it in a neutral, dry place. Bummer.

We purchased this remote to replace the original remote that came with our Samsung Smart Tv that literally disappeared. We have kids, so you know how that goes. This remote functions exactly how the original did, with all of the same buttons and features. It is a much cheaper than buying a replacement from Samsung directly and does the same exact thing. Will purchase again if we need too.

Works great! Appears to be just like the remote that came with the tv originally (I purchased the tv as a store model so it did not come with original remote). Easy to use and navigate through, as well as a quick response when using the remote. Would recommend if in need of a new Tv remote for your Samsung tv set!

Firstly, the Samsung Smart Hub button is different on the remote I got. It works but I have delays when I click. I feel like I have to be standing directly in front of the TV sensor for it to actually do what I want. Often times, my apps freeze and I have to turn the TV off completely for it to move. I hope it does not mess with my TV?
